Kids in Japan are taught to be responsible for their own meal and also the cleanliness of their environment. That is why when I asked for my Japanese host family for visiting to a Japanese schools when I am homestay in Japan, you'll see students taking over the role of school janitor to serve their own lunch, wash their own dishes, and clean their own classes.

A proof of a good education system that we all need to learn from Japan.

Kyoto University Allows Students To Wear Whatever They Want For Graduation; The Results Are Bizarre! March 2023

Students wear costumes to a graduation ceremony at Kyoto University. Kyoto University in Japan switched up its boring, long ceremonies from solemn speeches and routine name-calls to a fun and interactive ritual.

The university allowed students to arrive at the ceremony in anything they wished to wear. However, the university did not expect its students to take “anything” quite literally.

After the permit was greenlit, a ritual was set in a place where students would come to the ceremony in bizarre cosplays. The annual event is not only a highlight for the students but is also much-awaited by the relatives of the students who are also invited to the event.

Besides the relatives, journalists, and photographers wait for the ceremony to come by and experience the crazy first-hand.
