As we all know, the maritime industry is challenging. Our seafarers spend months away from home, facing demanding conditions at sea, and many are now also dealing with financial pressures arising from the ongoing conflict in West Asia. That is a heavy burden to carry.

Perdana Petroleum was proud to support the Ikhtisas Kelautan Malaysia 2026 Seafarers Goodwill Dinner as a sponsor on 23 May 2026 at Marriott Hotel, Putrajaya. It was a meaningful evening for a good cause, and one that remains close to us.

The programme was well organised from start to finish, and the atmosphere throughout the evening was truly lively. The highlight of the night was Jaclyn Victor’s performance, which was absolutely incredible. She brought amazing energy to the room, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

To all seafarers out there, keep going. The industry may be challenging, but you are not alone. The maritime community stands together and continues to look out for one another.

This Aidiladha, Perdana Petroleum was glad to play a part in bringing the community together.

Through YAYASAN KEBAJIKAN NEGARA (YKN), Perdana contributed cows to the Majlis Ibadah Korban Peringkat Parlimen Santubong, held on 30 May 2026 at Muara Tebuan.

The event was graced by Yang Berhormat Dato' Sri Hajah Nancy Haji Shukri, and the yield was distributed to residents across 19 branches in the surrounding area, ensuring more families could benefit from the occasion.

With deep roots in Sarawak waters and a parent company that calls Sarawak home, the community has always been central to how Perdana operates. Supporting the people in the regions where we work goes beyond business, and this is one small way we give back.

A big thank you to everyone who was involved in making the day a success.

Perdana Petroleum Berhad was pleased to participate in the MASA Annual Golf Tournament 2026, held on 16 May 2026 at SAASGCC, Shah Alam, in conjunction with MASA's 50th Anniversary.

It was a good occasion to be among 136 golfers from the maritime and industry community, and a reminder of the strong ties that bind us as an industry.

Perdana has long been supportive of MASA and its initiatives. We remain committed to contributing to the growth of Malaysia's maritime community, on and off the course.
