Meeting with the YBhg. Datuk Director of Sabah Immigration and the Chief Officer of the relevant Division regarding matters concerning vessels and crew members anchored in Brunei Bay.

We had a very positive and constructive meeting, during which various matters and challenges faced by industry players were discussed.

The Sabah Immigration Department, particularly the YBhg. Datuk Director, provided positive feedback, valuable insights, practical ideas and constructive suggestions to help address the issues raised.

I sincerely appreciate the openness and willingness of the Immigration Department to listen to the industry’s views and better understand the operational needs of industry players.

It is hoped that the outcome of this discussion will bring a positive impact to the maritime industry while also contributing towards greater economic activities and development in the State of Sabah.

With continued cooperation and closer engagement between the authorities and industry stakeholders, I believe there are many more opportunities that can be explored and developed for the benefit of Sabah.
