[Day 3, 19th Feb 2024 | Malaysia 🇲🇾] We started the day by getting up from our first night sleeping in Durian. To our surprise, we slept really well and were comfortable! Arisha didn’t want to be alone, so I slept with her.
We then went through the usual morning routine at CamperV—brushing our teeth, having breakfast, and of course, Ritesh couldn’t go without his morning coffee! ☕️
Next, we waited for the tow truck to arrive and took Durian to for some much-needed tyre and suspension repairs. Unfortunately, since it was already late in the evening, no work could be done that day. Arisha was happy to receive a red packet from the team at AJ 4x4! 🧧🎉
We decided to spend our night in Durian parked right in front of the workshop. It definitely felt strange sleeping in the parking lot, especially with Durian jacked up and surrounded by closed garages and empty streets. Not exactly the scenic nature spots that we crave to experience! But at least we had a warm meal—some pasta and one of the tastiest pizzas we’ve ever had! 🍕✨
With full bellies and a quiet (if unusual) place to rest, we called it a night, ready for whatever tomorrow brings.
“Have you ever had to sleep in an unusual place while traveling?”
