MATTA Fair Sabah April 2026 has officially come to a close after a successful run from 17–19 April at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all partners, supporters and visitors who made this event a great success. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and sharing exciting travel opportunities. We look forward to continuing this journey with you.

Following the press conference on 07 April 2026, the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Sabah Chapter is pleased to announce recent developments for MATTA Fair Sabah 2026, taking place from 17–19 April at the Sabah International Convention Centre. The Fair has demonstrated continued growth and strategic advancement with 167 confirmed booths surpassing expectations and reflecting strong confidence across both domestic and international travel sectors. The event will be officiated by YB Datuk Jafry Ariffin, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah on Saturday, 18 April 2026, underscoring its significance as a key platform for the state’s tourism industry.

In collaboration with the Sabah Tourism Board, the event highlights a shared commitment to sustainable and community-based tourism while supporting broader initiatives such as Explore Sabah 2027. Supported by strong industry partnerships and a strategic focus on regional markets, MATTA Fair Sabah 2026 is set to deliver a more impactful and forward-looking industry showcase.

📢 MATTA FAIR SABAH 2026: OFFICIAL DATE ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Following the press conference on 11 February 2026, the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA Sabah Chapter) is pleased to officially announce that MATTA Fair Sabah will take place from 17-19 April 2026 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu.

This premier travel exhibition will feature 150 booths, showcasing exclusive promotions, travel packages, and unbeatable deals tailored for both domestic and international travellers. The fair serves as a one-stop platform for travel enthusiasts, families, and corporate buyers to explore the latest in tourism offerings.

Visitors who spend a minimum of RM100 with any official exhibitor will be eligible to win exciting travel prizes, adding further value to their experience at the fair.

The event is proudly supported by RHB Bank as the Official Bank Partner and Malaysia Airlines (MAG) as the Official Airline Partner, providing enhanced privileges and exclusive offerings for visitors.

This morning at The Pacific Sutera, MATTA Fair Sabah 2025 wrapped up on a high note with the Buyers' Contest Prize Presentation Ceremony, where lucky visitors became proud winners! 🥳From the excitement in the room to the joy on the winners' faces, it was a moment that captured the true spirit of why we travel.✈️🏞🏝🌍

Taking the spotlight were our top three winners: Terrence Thien Khiun Hem, heading to the City of Love — Paris, courtesy of Malaysia Airlines; Thien Yeck Tan Lan is set for a scenic escape to Beijing; while Chia Shi Quan will soon unwind with a nature-filled stay at Bilit Rainforest Lodge, thanks to Tropical Gateway Tours.

This was more than just a prize ceremony. It was a reminder of why we do what we do, which is to spark journeys, moments, and memories that last a lifetime.
