Current situation at Johor port customs
Many containers needed to go for customs inspection but no bay available
Customers have been anxious to get container check but no space for parking at CEA
Drivers need to Q few hours from port to CEA area which resulted the efficiency of shipment turnaround
Need improvement on this
Badlog ever since long holiday
Utilisation of space is more than 100%
Those park outside will get compound of Rm500
As a consumers and importers or shipping agents/forwarders we do not mind to check but must have solution where to park and the speed of checking needs to improve
Otherwise the consignee or importers needs to pay extra cost due to this. Ultimately who needs to pay? It is consumers like us🥲😅
Urge respective departments to look into this issue urgently 🙏
