The Johor Trucking Association (JTA) would like to inform all Rebuild vehicle operators of an important update:

📌 Confirmed: Certain registered and technically compliant Rebuild vehicles are now eligible to proceed with SLD Retrofit.
Operators may choose to carry out the retrofit at any JPJ-authorised certification body.

📎 JTA has reviewed and referenced an SLD Retrofit Report sample (PDF).
The report format and contents are in line with current enforcement and audit requirements, and may be used as a practical reference for operators proceeding with Retrofit works.

🔧 SLD Retrofit Procedure (Based on Current Accepted Practice)

Upon completion of the Retrofit, operators are required to prepare and retain the following documents for compliance and enforcement purposes:

1️⃣ Front-view photo of the vehicle (clearly showing the number plate) + SLD Retrofit Report
2️⃣ Focused number plate photo + SLD Retrofit Report
3️⃣ Complete SLD Retrofit Report
4️⃣ Vehicle Registration Card (Geran)
5️⃣ Video proof showing the vehicle speed limited to 90 km/h after setting

📌 Operators are strongly advised to keep both printed and soft copies of these documents in the vehicle for JPJ roadblocks, audits, or inspections.

⚠️ Friendly reminders from JTA:
• Not all Rebuild vehicles are immediately eligible — please verify registration and technical compatibility first
• Early planning is encouraged to avoid last-minute congestion and delays
• For specific brands or models that cannot be retrofitted due to manufacturer limitations, operators are advised to inform JTA so the issues can be formally consolidated and escalated

📢【重要通告｜Rebuild 车辆 SLD Retrofit 最新执行指引】

柔佛啰里同业公会（JTA）在此向各位 Rebuild 车辆业者 更新一项重要资讯：

📌 已确认：部分已 Registered 且符合条件的 Rebuild 车辆，现阶段已可进行 SLD Retrofit。
业者可选择前往 JPJ 认可的授权单位（Authorize Body）进行 Retrofit 作业。

📎 本会已取得并参考 SLD Retrofit Report 样本（PDF），该报告格式与内容符合目前执法与审核所需标准，可作为业者执行 Retrofit 的参考依据。

🔧 SLD Retrofit 执行流程（依据现行可接受做法）：

完成 Retrofit 后，业者需准备以下资料作为合规与执法证明：

1️⃣ 车辆正面照片（清楚显示车牌）＋ SLD Retrofit Report
2️⃣ 车牌特写照片（Focus Plate Number）＋ SLD Retrofit Report
3️⃣ 完整 SLD Retrofit 报告（Report）
4️⃣ 车辆注册证（Geran）
5️⃣ 视频证明：显示车辆完成设定后，最高车速限制为 90 km/j

📌 以上文件与影像资料，建议打印及电子版同时保留，以备 JPJ Roadblock、Audit 或查核之用。

[Enhancing Cross-Border Synergy: Johor Trucking Association and Singapore Logistics Association Explore New Horizons Together]
On 29th May 2026, a delegation from the Johor Trucking Association (JTA) was cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) Gala Dinner of the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA).
During the dinner, representatives from both associations engaged in warm and productive discussions. This prestigious event provided an excellent platform for our delegation to strengthen existing ties with our Singaporean counterparts and establish connections with various outstanding logistics operators across different sectors. Active discussions were held around cross-border transportation, logistics technology, and future collaboration between Malaysia and Singapore.
In an industry landscape filled with new opportunities, close cooperation in bilateral logistics is more vital than ever. Both associations express strong enthusiasm and high expectations for deeper business exchange and strategic partnership ahead. We look forward to moving forward hand in hand to create more cross-border business opportunities for our members and drive the prosperity of the logistics industry in both regions.

Pemakluman Isu Teknikal Bagi Janaan Kuota Mei 2026

Adalah dimaklumkan, Kementerian telah mengenalpasti bahawa terdapat isu teknikal berhubung integrasi sistem MySikap JPJ dan sistem MySubsidi KPDN yang telah menyebabkan pelanggan yang memperbaharui cukai jalan pada bulan April 2026 tidak menerima kuota subsidi di bawah Sistem Kawalan Diesel Bersubsidi (SKDS) dan Sistem Kawalan Petrol Bersubsidi (SKPS) bermula 1 Mei 2026.

Sehubungan itu, Pemegang Fleet Card SKDS dan SKPS, khususnya yang telah memperbaharui cukai jalan dari tempoh 1 hingga 28 April 2026 dan tidak mendapat kuota pada 1 Mei 2026 dimohon untuk mengisi pautan https://forms.gle/hQy1ZQZ2NZoBFJgeA untuk perhatian dan tindakan lanjut Kementerian.

Maklumat tersebut perlu dikemukakan selewat-lewatnya 7 Mei 2026 (Khamis) pada atau sebelum 5.00 petang.

Sebarang kelewatan atau kegagalan mengemukakan maklumat ini akan menjejaskan proses pengemaskinian dan penyaluran semula kuota kepada pelanggan terlibat.

Kementerian sedang melaksanakan tindakan pembetulan dan kuota dijangka dapat dijana dalam tempoh 9 hingga 11 Mei 2026.

Maklumat lanjut berhubung perkara ini akan dimaklumkan dari semasa ke semasa.

Today, representatives of our association, accompanied by several committee members, attended the “Sesi Libat Urus” (Engagement Session) organized by the Johor State Government.

The session brought together various state agencies and local authorities to discuss key issues affecting the current business environment, focusing on:
🔹 Enhancing government service delivery and communication mechanisms
🔹 Addressing operational challenges faced by businesses
🔹 Improving policy implementation efficiency and transparency

During the session, our association actively voiced out the concerns faced by the transportation and logistics industry, while also putting forward constructive suggestions aimed at achieving practical and effective solutions to support sustainable industry growth.
