Here is a 4K Walking tour of the recent KLPF or Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival KLPF which was held from 9-11 August at KL Gateway Mall. Since I had some extra time, I walked around with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to see what it was capable of. Here are the results of my walking tour of the entire place, packaged with ambient sounds.

And here it is! My poster for the talk I will give at the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival KLPF or 𝐊𝐋𝐏𝐅 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 this August. It's gonna be fun, exciting and different. This time around, I'll be sharing my 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗶. It will include birds and mammals, and maybe some flowers. So, I'm hoping to see you there!

Birds from Fraser's Hill, taken a couple of weeks ago during the Fraser's Hill International Bird Race 2024. Sometimes, you get lucky, and some uncommon birds show up. Other times, you see the same old usual suspects like this bunch. That's birdwatching in general - An excuse to get out to nature, walk around (sometimes drive) and look for birds. At least you'll be focused on nature....

Some late-post foodie explorations in Penang. This was at Presgrave Street Hawker Centre a few months ago, where it's not that crazy full of tourists. In the line-up, Starring 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐲 and co-starring 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐨𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐨𝐰, 𝐇𝐨𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞 & 𝐌𝐞𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐰𝐚, all of which are cooked by 'local people' that provide a unique passion in the finished product.

For my birding friends locally and internationally, the 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 is taking place this coming 8 & 9 🅹🆄🅽🅴. This is Malaysia's oldest and biggest bird race that attracts not only bird lovers but photographers and nature lovers to one of the most beautiful hill stations in Malaysia.

Running for over 30 years, this bird race also offers a bird photography contest which is held from Saturday to Sunday, with some attractive prizes being offered. The main organiser is no other than Tourism Pahang with the assistance of Malaysian Nature Society and Wild Bird Club Malaysia - WBCM. If you've been curious about this unique hobby of birdwatching and want to find out more, this is the event to attend.
