Eagle watching (near Pulau Singa Besar)
Arrive at nearby island for Eagle watching. Brahminy Kite Eagle and White Belly Eagles in action. The wingspan of the female white Belly Sea Eagles can reach 2 meters. As the boat enters the watching area, the eagle will follow and hovers around the boat. As soon as the boatman dropped chicken and fish into the sea, the eagles will dive for the feed. Being a bird of prey, they normally feed on fish, birds, small bats, snakes and insects. Eagle are protected species by our Malaysia Wildlife Department.

Pulau Dayang Bunting / Pregnant Maiden Lake

Arrival at Tasik Dayang Bunting or Lake of the Pregnant Maiden, which is nestled in the island of lushly forested hills on this island south of Langkawi. This is the largest lake in all the island of Langkawi. The outline of hills and rocky outcrops on the one side of the lake takes the shape of a pregnant maiden lying on the back. But the name of both the island and the lake is attributed to the legend of a lovely fairy princess who married an earthly prince. Her first child died shortly after birth and was buried in the crystal waters of the lake. Before returning to her fairy adobe, she blessed the waters so barren women who bath in the lake will conceive thereafter. Guest can take a dip in the lake or try out the paddle boat rides art their own expenses. To reach the lake there is some 250 meters of mild hill climbing so please prepared!

Mahsuri Tomb

Legend has it that the pure white sandy beaches were originated from the seepage of white blood that flowed from the body of a beautiful princess named Mahsuri. Mahsuri, who was wrongly accused on having an adulterous affair, was quickly judged, condemned, and sentenced to death. Her death was eventually brought about when the executioner plunged her own "kris" (dagger) into the princess. The blood, which flowed from her was white, thus depicting her innocence. With her dying breath, the princess laid a curse on the island, that the island would not prosper fro seven generations. Within the ground of mausoleum are souvenir shops and stalls. There are also displays of the lifestyles of "old Langkawi" such as method of milling of rice, lulling baby to sleep and traditional music.

Eagle Square
The Dataran Lang, itinerary the Eagle Square, is the very fisrt landmark that comes across the sight of visitors, arriving by ferry, to Langkawi. Located next to Lagenda Park near Kuah Jetty, the square boats of a wonderful statue of a reddish brown eagle all geared for a flight. The eagle, with a huge brown wings, is perched on a massive rock, looking afar at the vast Andaman Sea.

Underwater World Langkawi
Underwater World Langkawi is one of the largest marine and fresh water aquaria in South East Asia. Since the start of its operation on 26 August 1995, it has become one of the must visit tourist destinations in Langkawi and has attracted a large number of foreign as well as local tourist.
