Ajmal Najma is a member of the Fleet Asset department at Weststar Aviation Services.
In her role, she manages leasing documentation and supports the full aircraft lifecycle — from acquisition to retirement. She works closely with international lessors, supports operational needs, and collaborates across departments to ensure efficient and seamless fleet processes. The Fleet Asset Department plays an important role in ensuring aircraft readiness, managing leasing activities, and supporting overall aviation operations.
No two days are the same in her role, as she moves between coordinating fleet matters, supporting leasing discussions, and engaging in cross-functional projects across the organisation.
She joined Weststar with a strong interest in aviation and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment. What she enjoys most is the opportunity to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, making the experience both challenging and rewarding.
One of her most memorable experiences has been being involved in key fleet and operational initiatives, as well as company events, and seeing how behind-the-scenes work directly supports aviation operations.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, and has a fondness for cats.
