One oversized food-processing silo moved from Sahagún, Hidalgo, to Amarillo, Texas.

At 14.42 meters long and 6.5 tons, the operation required oversize permits, an extendable step-deck trailer, secure cargo handling, and precise cross-border coordination from origin to destination.

🥑 One avocado. An entire international operation behind it.

On International Avocado Day, we’re taking a closer look at the supply chain behind one of Mexico’s most relevant agricultural exports.

Mexico is the world’s #1 avocado exporter, with 1.19 million metric tons exported in 2024.
