The United Arab Emirates government instructed hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to extend stays and is covering hotel and meal costs for travelers stuck there because airspace closures and widespread flight cancellations left thousands unable to leave. UAE aviation authorities also confirmed the state is paying for accommodation, meals and support for affected passengers with around 20,000 people helped so far.

When crisis hit and the skies closed, the UAE didn’t pass the problem to the people, they stepped up, paid up, and protected their guests.

📍 **Puerto Vallarta** is on Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
📍 Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, and Tulum are on the Caribbean side.

These are completely different regions of the country.

To put it into perspective:

✈️ Puerto Vallarta → Cancun/Riviera Maya
• Nearly **1,100 miles apart**
• About a **4-hour flight**
• Over **24 hours driving**

That’s like comparing Florida to New York — they are NOT neighboring beach towns.

The current advisory applies specifically to the Puerto Vallarta/Jalisco region and does **not** involve the Mexican Caribbean destinations so many of my clients love and travel to every year. 🌊☀️

🌴 The Caribbean side — including Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Costa Mujeres, and Tulum — continues operating normally for the most part, welcoming weddings, vacations, and celebrations daily. 💍🏖️✨
