First Look: The NEW St. Regis Costa Mujeres 🇲🇽

✨ Brand-new luxury EP PLAN - St. Regis resort in Costa Mujeres, just north of Cancun.

🏨 Designed with elegant, sophisticated interiors and a refined luxury aesthetic.

🍵 Features a dedicated High Tea Room, a signature St. Regis experience.

🚤 A private pier has been built for future boat transfers to Isla Mujeres, where guests will have exchange privileges at Almare Resort beginning December 2026.

🍽️ The resort is still in its opening phase, with additional restaurants scheduled to open soon.

My Observations

👥 Resort occupancy was around 15%, making it exceptionally quiet.

🌴 Pool area has minimal greenery at the moment, giving it a less tropical feel.

☀️ The main pool stays in full sun until about 4 PM with very limited shade.

🍴 Currently only 2 restaurants are open, with 2 more expected to open later.

🍸 Cocktails average $25 USD each.

🥩 Entrées average around $50 USD each.

🛏️ Guest rooms are elegant, rich-looking, and sophisticated—one of the property's highlights.

🥂 The Lobby Bar feels like an elegant country club with polished, refined service.

🏊 Swim-out room categories feature enormous private pools, which are particularly impressive.

🚤 The upcoming boat service to Isla Mujeres should be a great added amenity once it launches in December 2026.

🏖️ The biggest disappointment for me was the beach, which currently isn't a standout feature of the resort. But if you love great service, great pools and great food, you can overlook the beach,
