A little Mayakoba photo dump because this trip was unreal. The Fairmont delivered on everything — amazing food and drinks, gorgeous rooms, great pools and bars, and nature woven into every corner. Even the coatis made an appearance.

Food Adventures In San Pedro, Belize.
We enjoyed exploring the food choices in San Pedro since there are no American chain restaurants on the island.
We had lobster five times, discovered pupusas at Papuseria Salvadoreno, and even had to stop at 303 Belize because… Colorado pride.
Shout out to Nauti Crab for dinner and entertainment at the hilarious crab races.
We loved trying different places, but the thing that followed us home? Marie Sharp’s hot sauce. We grabbed a sampler pack at the airport on the way out and now it shows up on our doorstep regularly.

Just Booked: Our First Long Island, Bahamas Adventure — Coming This June
Getaway Ideas Travel is heading to the Bahamas this summer. We’ll start with a quick stay at The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar before flying over to Long Island for the real adventure.
This island has been on my radar for years — even more since our quick cruise stop last fall.
On our list:
-Snorkeling and kayaking in calm, clear water
-Visiting Dean’s Blue Hole, the 3rd deepest in the world
-Finding hidden beaches and taking way too many photos
-Fishing both the shallows and the deep
-Eating whatever the locals say is the best thing on the menu
-Meeting the local wildlife and marine life — including and excursion to meet the swimming pigs

Long Island, we’re ready for you.

Spring Golf Getaway Inspiration Obsessively watching the first major of the season has me dreaming about the next golf getaway. We've loved Phoenix-Scottsdale, Palm Springs, and San Diego-Temecula...but Fairmont Mayakoba with a round at El Camaleón is on a whole different level. Golf travel season is officially in full swing.
