Not one. Not two. But THREE families are setting sail on their very FIRST Disney Cruise tomorrow! 🚢✨🎉

And I might be almost as excited as they are! 😂

If you know our family, you know Disney Cruise Line holds a pretty special place in our hearts. It’s hands down one of our favorite ways to vacation, and getting to help other families experience that same magic is one of my favorite parts of owning Stuck on Travel Co. 💙

There’s just something about watching your kids experience Disney magic, exploring new destinations together, and finding a vacation where Mom and Dad actually get to relax, too!

🚨 Something BIG was revealed today! 🚨

Disney Cruise Line just unveiled its newest ship — the Disney Believe — and she’ll be filled with even more Disney magic! ✨ Think favorites like Encanto, Snow White, Toy Story and so much more.

Even Beckham sat down to watch the reveal with me, and let’s just say… we may already be scheming how to get ourselves onboard during her inaugural year. 😂🚢

If you’ve been considering a Disney Cruise, you HAVE to check this out! And the best part? You don’t have to wait for the Disney Believe to experience the magic.

Okay, after making you guess the lie in our 2 Truths & a Lie: Excellence Coral edition, I figured I should probably tell you what we actually LOVED about this resort. 🌴😂

First—the resort itself is gorgeous. Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres opened in 2024, so everything feels new, modern and beautifully designed.

And our ROOM. 😍

We absolutely splurged on an Excellence Club Two-Story Rooftop Terrace Suite with a private pool and ocean view…and I have ZERO regrets. It was easily my favorite hotel/resort room I’ve ever stayed in. Honestly, the room became part of the vacation—which was exactly what we wanted for this trip.

When we were choosing a resort, Bryan and I had two big requirements:

🍽️ Really good food
💆‍♀️ A highly rated spa

And Excellence Coral delivered on both.

Was every single meal life-changing? No. But the vast majority were really good, and a few were absolute standouts.

🥩 Steak & eggs for breakfast — We ordered it THREE times. That should tell you everything.

🇲🇽 7-course Flavors of Mexico tasting — There was a $50/person upcharge and it was 100% worth it. One of our favorite meals of the trip. (If you know, you know 🐜)

🇫🇷 The French restaurant — One of MY favorites. Bryan probably could have gone the rest of his life without eating a snail. 🐌😂

And then, because apparently we are those people now, we actually wanted to hit the gym every day on vacation. 😂

Moving our bodies keeps us from feeling like garbage, and we have two young boys at home who require a level of stamina I was not properly warned about.

The gym was fantastic…large, tons of equipment, plenty of options and fitness classes available. My only note: it definitely got busier around 8–9 a.m.

But the REAL standout of the entire resort?

✨ Miilé Spa. ✨

We went THREE times.

Twice for spa treatments + hydrotherapy and once just for hydrotherapy because apparently we decided vacation Whitney & Bryan are spa people now.

Our second treatment absolutely BLEW. MY. MIND.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that spa experience alone might be enough to get me to book Excellence Coral again.

And considering the bed was a little firmer than this girl prefers 😂…that is saying something.

Beautiful resort. Incredible room. Really good food. Fantastic gym. And a spa that may have ruined other spas for me.

Would we go back? Absolutely. 🌴❤️

Let’s play 2 Truths & a Lie: Excellence Coral edition. 🌴😂

1️⃣ Bryan intentionally ate a giant ant. 🐜
2️⃣ The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. 😴
3️⃣ We basically refused to leave our room on the last day of the trip. 🏝️

Which one is the lie?! 👀

And for anyone who saw the room we splurged on…you already know #3 is VERY believable. 😂

Last morning in paradise. 🌴☕️🥺

Five nights went WAY too fast.

The real question is…how many times do we think I visited Aroma on this trip? 😂☕️ Let’s just say they knew me well.

We’re heading home today, and I have SO much to share about Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres.

The room. The food. The spa. The service. The pools. The Excellence Club experience. And, obviously, the coffee. 😉

I need a minute to collect all my thoughts, but this may genuinely be one of the best all-inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at.

Apparently the secret to having an entire resort pool to yourself is…go to Cancún over Labor Day weekend. 😂🌴

I knew September was considered low season here, but I wasn’t quite prepared for THIS.

No 6:00 a.m. alarm to claim a pool chair.
No wandering around hoping someone leaves.
No packed pool.
No fighting for restaurant reservations.

There are beautiful chairs sitting EMPTY everywhere, and Bryan is currently living his best life in what appears to be his own private, absolutely massive pool. 😂

The gym at 8 a.m., however? PACKED. Apparently everyone here is committed to earning their cocktails. 🤣🍹

September in Cancún definitely comes with a trade-off, it’s hotter, wetter and hurricane season means the weather is less predictable.

But if you’re willing to roll the dice a little?

Lower crowds + gorgeous resort + your pick of the pool chairs = a pretty fantastic Labor Day weekend. 🌴🥂

Five Nights of Spa Days, Ridiculous Food & Remembering We Really Like Each Other 🌴🥂

That’s the entire mission for our upcoming adults-only getaway to Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres.

Sleep. Move our bodies. Eat exceptionally well. Get massages. Drink good cocktails. Sit by beautiful water. And spend five glorious nights being Whitney and Bryan instead of Mom and Dad. ❤️

And because this trip is specifically about slowing WAY down, we decided to splurge on the room.

We’re staying in an Excellence Club Two-Story Rooftop Terrace Suite with Private Pool + Ocean View and…yeah. 😍

Two stories.
Private rooftop terrace.
Our own pool.
Ocean views.

This isn’t going to be one of those trips where the room is simply somewhere we sleep. The room is part of the vacation.

No excursions planned.
No packed itinerary.
No trying to see how much we can squeeze into five days.

Just a really beautiful resort, a ridiculous room, great food, spa days and time together.

Sometimes the trip isn’t about how much you can do. It’s about how little you have to. 🌴

And yes, I’ll be sharing ALL the details because this one is absolutely going in my travel-advisor research file. 😉

Well, hello again. 👋🏼 Turns out I still own a travel business. 😂

I’ve been a little MIA around here this summer.

Not because Stuck on Travel Co. hasn’t been busy, but because life has been busy. And honestly? Summers with my boys are meant for swimming, staying up too late, little adventures and saying yes to things that don’t fit neatly into a schedule. ☀️

Social media moved down the priority list for a minute.

But behind the scenes? I’ve been PLANNING. ✈️

And you guys have been going to some pretty incredible places.

And now that summer is winding down, I have a LOT to share including some incredible client trips, travel tips, Disney planning, and a few upcoming adventures of our own.

Starting with a certain adults-only trip to Mexico that involves a two-story suite, private rooftop pool, ridiculous food and multiple spa days… 👀🌴🥂

POV: You wake up in a new island paradise… and you didn’t have to repack a single bag. 🌴✨

This is exactly why I recommend a Disney Cruise for families.

We started our day with a cocktail in hand (because yes, parents deserve vacation too 🍹), and within minutes the boys were sprinting straight into the most unreal, crystal-clear water. No long transfers. No stress. Just… arrive and enjoy.

From beachside bites with a view that doesn’t even look real, to salty hair, sandy toes, and nonstop exploring—these are the kind of moments you can’t quite plan, but somehow Disney makes effortless.

And the best part?
When the day winds down, you’re not navigating traffic or packing up again. You’re hopping back on the boat, kids happily exhausted, usually asleep before you even leave the dock… while you soak in the views all over again.

Multiple bucket-list destinations.
Zero logistics overwhelm.
Memories your kids will actually remember.

That’s the magic of cruising with Disney. 🚢💙

T-1 SLEEP!!! ✨🚢
The excitement is sky high… the luggage is heavy… and honestly, we’re calling that balance. 😅
We are in route to the airport so I thought I ‘d share our Disney Treasure itinerary:

🌴 St. Thomas – 8-hour private catamaran day (literally my dream). Nothing beats being out on the water exploring a new island.

☀️ Tortola – Ferrying over to Jost Van D**e for the day—a tiny island known for its laid-back beach bars, crystal-clear water, and some of the best painkillers in the Caribbean 🍹

🏝️ Castaway Cay – Pure Disney magic. Calm turquoise water, characters popping up everywhere, unlimited ice cream 🍦… and somehow I managed to snag one of the ultra-rare cabanas 👀 (full review coming because I have THOUGHTS)

Hot take: I didn’t book our excursions through Disney 👀
I’ve found better pricing and way more flexibility booking on our own—and I skip the stress of those Disney excursions selling out FAST.

Is there risk? Sure. If you’re late, the ship is not waiting.
But with the right planning, it’s a calculated risk that’s absolutely worth it (for us).

Should I do a live tour of our cruise cabin tomorrow??? 🚢✨
