I’ve visited a lot of iconic New York City landmarks over the years, but SUMMIT One Vanderbilt was a completely new experience for me. While places like Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and the 9/11 Memorial are classics, SUMMIT felt like something entirely different.

Perched high above Manhattan, it isn’t just an observation deck—it’s an immersive experience. The mirrored rooms create the illusion that the skyline stretches endlessly in every direction, and the views of the Empire State Building are incredible. Between the reflective spaces, floating silver balloons, glass ledges, and floor-to-ceiling windows, it feels more like stepping into a work of art than simply looking out over the city.
