While much of Asia celebrates with red lanterns, Mongolia welcomes the spring with the "White Month"—Tsagaan Sar.

It’s a time of pure intentions, massive dumpling feasts, and a beautiful show of respect for elders. But did you know not every Mongolian family uses the same pastries? While many use the iconic Ul Boov, the Torguud and Zakhchin people craft the intricate, braided Gurmel (Гүрмэл) to symbolize family unity. 🥨
