🚨 Dear “full-service” agencies, sports travel agencies and solo travel heroes🚨
You say your corporate client or football club doesn’t allow you to work with agencies, only direct suppliers?
Wow. Bold promise you made there! Because clearly, you know every trusted supplier in every destination, right?
You’ve personally inspected the hotels in Chișinău, negotiated backstage access in Tiraspol or Orheiul Vechi, and briefed the drivers on local protocol. Right?
Let’s be real:
🌍 The world is vast.
🧠 Expertise is local.
🛠️ Results come from partnerships.
You can’t Google your way to “on the ground” know-how.
You can’t improvise quality.
And you definitely can’t promise full-service while burning bridges with the very experts who could save your project.
You speak ? So what?
📌 Fact check: is no longer part of the — and speaking Russian doesn’t make you local.
You speak ? Yes, brother, common history, common language, same people (for those who gave the guts to admit it), but you're not local...
Unless you live here, have an office here, or partner with someone who does, you are NOT agency from Moldova!
Stop pretending otherwise on your website or in your presentations!
If you ask for local contacts but can’t work with agencies, that’s not strategic — that’s freeloading.
Recommendations are earned through trust and professional reciprocity, not because “the client said so.” And even then you will have to pay back, you know it.
👉 To corporate clients and sports clubs:
RUN. Run from agencies or employees that brag they only work directly and still promise the best results.
That’s code for “we’ll cut corners, skip context, and cross fingers.”
Experience has a price.
Local expertise is an investment.
And if your rep doesn’t have either a branch or a reliable DMC partner on the ground — that’s not premium service. That’s a red flag.
There’s no “alone” in the travel business.
There’s only “with the right partner.”
✨Be smart. Be humble. Don’t aim for “I’m the best.” Aim for:
“Here’s my best advice, backed by the right people.”
