APM Terminals MedPort Tangier est l'un des terminaux les plus avancés technologiquement, les plus efficaces et plus sûrs au monde. Stratégiquement situé au sud du détroit de Gibraltar, c’est le second terminal à conteneurs du groupe Maersk au complexe portuaire Tanger Med. Conçu, édifié et exploité par APM Terminals, il offre actuellement une capacité de 3,3 millions d'EVP, laquelle atteindra 5 mi

llions d'EVP avec l'achèvement de ses programmes d'expansion, totalisant 800 millions de dollars d'investissement. Officiellement inauguré en juin 2019 par SAR le Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan, APM Terminals MedPort Tangier traite certains des plus grands porte-conteneurs du monde lors de leurs escales au port Tanger Med 2. Ultramoderne, le terminal, localement désigné par TC4, est un hub majeur de transbordement en Méditerranée ainsi qu’un véritable atout pour la performance logistique du Maroc et le développement de ses exportations. APM Terminals MedPort Tangier repose sur un personnel jeune et hautement qualifié. Il a permis la création de plus d'un millier d'emplois directs. APM Terminals MedPort Tangier, dont les opérations ont officiellement été lancé le 28 juin 2019, est l’un des terminaux les plus sophistiqués au Monde.

APM Terminals MedPort Tangier terminal est le deuxième terminal du Groupe A.P Moller- Maersk, après APM Terminals Tangier, à être installé au Complexe portuaire Tanger Med. Avec cette nouvelle installation, d’une capacité de 5 Millions d’EVP, le Maroc sera l’une des destinations les plus importantes pour le transbordement.

Il aura fallu deux ans de construction et plus de 800 Million de dollars d’investissement pour sortir ce bijou technologique. Le nouveau terminal est conçu, construit et géré par APM Terminlas, et rejoindra désormais le hub de services pour le compte de Maersk et ses partenaires. Construit en utilisant les dernières technologies, le terminal compte aujourd’hui parmi les terminaux les plus efficients et sûrs au monde.
