A sunset camel ride is so much more than just exploring the desert. It’s about soaking in the landscape and the silence, and watching the sun disappear behind the dunes. 🌅
During the ride, there’s a moment when you can hop off and walk on the sand, taking in the view and enjoying the sunset from the dunes. Afterward, you climb back on and continue the journey.
And one thing that is very important to us: the camels are treated with the utmost care. They are taken out for the sunset ride for only about two hours a day, after which they rest.
What’s more, this activity is part of the lives of many Moroccan families who earn their livelihood from it and care for their animals every day. ❤️
Because traveling is also about discovering other ways of life, enjoying them, and doing so with respect.
