One of the most meaningful moments of our journey was visiting a local olive oil cooperative in Morocco. Our wonderful group of senior travelers had the chance to meet the women and farmers behind this centuries-old tradition, learning how olives are carefully harvested and transformed into Morocco’s famous golden olive oil.

From the scent of freshly pressed olives to the warm smiles and stories shared, it was a beautiful cultural exchange. Experiences like these are what make travel so special — connecting with local communities, discovering traditions, and tasting the true flavors of Morocco.

Elizabeth’s journey began in Tangier, continued through the blue charm of Chefchaouen, and into the ancient wonders of Volubilis and Fes.
She crossed the Middle, High, and Anti-Atlas Mountains, discovering Morocco’s hidden paths, authentic Berber culture, and breathtaking landscapes far from the tourist crowds.
Then—Erg Chigaga. Golden dunes, camel rides, nomads, and nights under endless stars.
Her adventure ended along the wild Atlantic coast in Sidi Ifni and Essaouira, before the magic of Marrakech wrapped up this unforgettable experience.

The highlight? Freshly baked Berber sand bread cooked right under the golden Sahara sun — yes, literally on the sand! 🍞☀️
