🌟 Tirana, Albania Day Trip 🌟

So this Saturday (03.02.24) I have my next trip booked for Tirana in Albania.

This was actually the first trip I booked and it looks like an amazing part of the world.

I plan to visit Skanderbeg Square which is the main plaza in Tirana to walk up the Pyramid of Tirana.
See REJA aka ‘The Cloud’, The Friendship Monument, Et`hem Bey Mosque and more…

I will also be going on the longest cable car in the Balkans.
It’s 4354 meters long and scales to the top of the Dajti Mountain which provides breathtaking views.

I’m sure I’ll have some great food along the way as well.

I’ll share the costings soon and then some pictures of my next adventure once I’m home…

So travel insurance is, of course, and essential part of traveling.

Now that the U.K. is no longer in the EU the ‘EHIC’ (European Health Insurance Card) is being replaced with the ‘GHIC’ (Global Health Insurance Card)

🌟 Day Trip in Wrocław, Poland 🌟

As we sit on the train to Lukasz’ parents town for some much needed rest I thought I’d post an update.

It’s been an amazing experience so far…

Walking the streets of Wrocław hunting down the dwarfs, seeing the ‘love locks’ on Tumski Bridge and taking in the breathtaking views from the rooftop of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist…

Going inside the Panorama Racławicka and learning all about its history and seeing the 130 year old hand painted 15m x 120m mural was certainly something I’ll never forget.
Wrocław Market Square all light up with beautiful Christmas lights was the perfect end to the day 🎄

What a place 😍

So many beautiful places to explore….

🌟 Poland Trip 27.01 to 28.01🌟

I’ll drop a few details for this trip below and include a few of the possible sights we’re hoping to visit…

London Stansted to Wroclaw: 08:50 - 11:50 (27th)
Wroclaw to London Stansted: 22:20 - 23:25 (28th)

Costs: £43.32

We’re parking near to the airport for 48hours which costs £30.87 (£15.44pp)

𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at my good friend Lukasz’ parents house
This is incredibly generous of them to put us up for the weekend 😍

We hope to find some of Wrocław’s Dwarfs, see Kolejkowo and visit Ostrow Tumski (Cathedral Island) amongst other beautiful sites around the city.

I’ll certainly share some images and more details of my trip once I’m back 🙌🏻
