Riga City Council invites to participate in a sailing festival "Riga Sailing Cup". There are a number of test groups in this regatta:
Riga Sailing Cup - for Q-25, Platu 25, Laser, Optimist;
The purpose of this festival is to promote sailing sports to citizens and guests of Riga. Time: August 15-16, 2015 during Riga City Festival
Location: Andrejsala, Riga Sunset Lounge, regatta in the river Dauga
va between Andrejsala and Kipsala. During the event (for spectators):
1. Electronical exposure of the regatta online with comment on the coast
2. Spectator ships
3. Activities for kids
4. Celebration event on Saturday night together with participants
For participants:
1. Great organization and great atmosphere
2. High competitive level
3. Support for yacht transportation
4. Free of charge boat handling and storage in the yacht club.
5. Free of charge car and trailer parking
