🔴⚫️ CHRIS GOWLING WINS LOCH KEN 3 DAY FESTIVAL⚫️🔴
Chris Gowling wins the 3-day Loch Ken Bream Festival with 49lb. Team mate, and last years winner, Scott Lister comes in 3rd place with 44lb.
Day one Chris drew Peg11 on Mushroom Bay an area he isnt too familar with and wasnt sure what to expect. He found some decent perch at 55 turns putting plenty chop worm through feeder to end with 17-11 when won the day overall ⁉️
Day 2 he drew a peg to the end of Robins and after no bites on tip after six chucks he swapped to the whip setting his concentration on small fish on whip and pole (and claims he had 3 million pike now sat in front of him 😅) Approx 150 fish for just shy of 16lb.
Day 3 He drew peg 2 on the Shallows. He was happy with that draw - yes you heard me right Chris happy 😅. He managed 30 small skimmers at 55 turns on the feeder and a few small roach and perch on pole for 16lb.
Chris has just taken delivery of some Marvellist Power 5000 reels loaded with Sublime braid and is super impressed with the smoothness especially when casting 55-60m.
A great few days for Chris and Scott. Well done to both of them.
