What a day at the Journée Nationale de la Sécurité Civile 2026! ✈️💧

It was a pleasure to meet so many visitors at our stand and showcasing our AT-802 Fire Boss with two live water drop demonstrations.

Thank you CGDIS - Corps grand-ducal d'incendie et de secours for the opportunity and excellent organisation.

We’re amazed by the number of photos and videos we’ve received and can’t wait to share some of our favourites. 📸🙌🏼

E Läschfliger an Aktioun... zu Lëtzebuerg?

Déi Leit déi 2024 d’Läschfligeren wärend der Journée Nationale de la Sécurité Civile zu Iechternach verpasst hunn, kënne mer vertréischten.
Och dëst Joer passéiert den AT-802 Fire Boss vun Aquarius Aerial Firefighting iwwert d’Sauer zu Dikrech fir Waasser erofzeloossen.

Eng immens selte Geleegenheet d’Läschfligeren an Aktioun ze gesinn.

Congratulations to the five Luxembourgish Air Cadets for their successful participation.
Congratulations as well to the Belgium Air Cadets program, which continues to inspire young aviation enthusiasts and fosters their passion for flying.
Programs like these remain an essential, if not one of the best, feeding grounds for future talent, providing valuable pathways into aviations careers, including airlines, air forces, and specialised operators as Aquarius. Their contribution to the aviation ecosystem is invaluable and reaches far beyond the program itself.

POV: Preparing for the next drop 💧🔥

Our CEO, Wieger Ketellapper, speaks with RTL about the recent deployment in Gironde and why amphibious aircraft remain an essential asset in combating increasingly complex wildfires. ✈️🔥

The English article, along with the video interview in German and Luxembourgish, is available below.

The massive wildfires in southwest France, particularly in the Gironde region, have underscored the crucial role of amphibious aircraft; Luxembourg also contributed to the firefighting efforts, both on the ground and from the air.

Welcome back to the 15 CGDIS firefighters who supported the wildfire response efforts in Gironde!

At Aquarius Aerial Firefighting, we are proud to have supported Luxembourg's contribution to France through the European Civil Protection Mechanism, with one of our aircraft deployed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Home Affairs. ✈️

This operation once again demonstrated the strength of European solidarity and the value of cross-border cooperation in emergency response.

A sincere thank you to all firefighters, pilots, and support teams involved in the operation, and to the local communities that supported response personnel throughout the deployment. 🙏

We are honored to support Luxembourg’s contribution to France’s wildfire response and to be part of the collective effort to protect natural resources, wildlife, human lives and livelihoods.
