Happy ! 🚁👏

Held on mid-August each year, World Helicopter Day aims to raise awareness to the contributions that make to our society and celebrate the diverse range of people that design, fly and support them.
Every day there are people relying on helicopters for rescues, disaster relief, transport, firefighting, medical transfers, power-line maintenance, tourism, agriculture and many more roles around the world.
Helisota as organization for helicopters, would like to wish to all the helicopter pilots, operators, technicians and all the related personnel which contribute to a better world!

Niekada nežinosi, kada ir kaip pasisuks profesinės vizijos planai. Gintautas Šukys (32 m.) į „Helisotą“, kompaniją, teikiančią sraigtasparnių techninės priežiūros ir remonto paslaugas, atėjo būdamas studentas. Vaikinui nė minties nebuvo savo ateitį sieti su aviacija. Tačiau darbas taip įtraukė ir patiko, kad liko įmonėje ir sparčiai kopia įdomios karjeros laiptais.

There‘s no denying that Covid-19 pandemic changed the aviation industry as a whole. Aircraft were grounded, thousands of people found themselves unemployed, and the predictions for many areas of aviation industry were bleak.

However, while many aviation companies had to make big cuts, postpone or abandon projects, some helicopter organizations did not see drastic drop in operational demand. On a contrary, helicopter organizations related with public sector even faced growth opportunities. And with high demand for helicopter services, mostly related to governmental Covid-19 operations, priority for highest quality MRO services was formed. However, in order to fulfil such demand, helicopters MRO services providers had to implement changes in their usual activities and offer flexible solutions.
