A Meaningful Beginning to the Year at World’s End Lodge

This past week, our staff came together to organise a "Sarva Rathrika Seth Piritha" at the lodge. It was held to seek blessings for the year ahead and to lovingly remember Mr. Dharmaratne, who founded and built this property over 30 years ago.

This was how our team chose to begin the year — with gratitude, unity, and intention. We pray these blessings guide us forward, bringing strength and protection to our future renovations, our staff, their families, and all who pass through this place.

We are deeply grateful for the people who care for this place as more than just a workplace. May the year ahead bring strength, guidance, and success to all.

Under New Management and Moving Forward..

To our valued guests and friends,

We’re excited to share that World’s End Lodge is under new management. This property carries nearly 150 years of history, and it’s been an emotional and humbling journey to take on the responsibility of bringing it back to life. Since the beginning of this year, we’ve been steadily working through the challenges the property has faced, with a renewed focus on restoring the charm and experience our guests deserve.


Some of the key improvements already underway include concreting access roads that fall within the hotel property and beginning much-needed building renovations. While there’s still plenty of work ahead, we’re making meaningful progress every day.


Importantly, the hotel remains operational and open to guests. We’re deeply grateful for those who’ve stood by us and supported us through change, and we warmly invite both new and returning guests to be part of this new chapter.


We’re genuinely excited about what’s to come — and we look forward to welcoming you as we transform World’s End Lodge into something truly special once again.
