There are dozens of brilliant waterfalls and hikes in the Hills!
Dunhinda falls usually looks like being in a huge cloud. It is pretty tall, and powerful, so the bottom area is covered in dew drop spray and mist. Actually its name in Sinhala means โ€œmistโ€ or โ€œsmokeโ€.
It's also known as Bridal Fall because the shape of the falling water resembles a bridal veil.
Getting to the falls is a downward hike, and thereโ€™s a lookout point at the end.
โ—๏ธAt this point there are signs saying that climbing down to the bottom is risky, and itโ€™s for everybodyโ€™s own responsibility. It is really steep and slippery, so be cautious!

โ€ผ๏ธAlso the water is really fast running in the bottom of the cascade, and dangerous, so bathing is possible only in the side pools between the bigger rocks!
