This hidden iron fountain, once celebrated in 1875 during the visit of Prince William (later King Edward VII), is a forgotten jewel. Forged by the renowned George Smith Company in Glasgow, this fountain was shipped from the UK to Sri Lanka a one of a kind masterpiece. The same company shaped the railings of the Queen’s Hotel and other iconic structures. As a guide, I take you beyond the usual paths into a history that not many notice, but that is truly valuable. A SKYFEATHER Story

This piece began by accident a spilled tube of red, a moment that wasn’t planned. Layer by layer, it changed shape and meaning. Faces appeared, disappeared, and the entire original creation was wiped away by the flow of color.

But just before it vanished into the red, one face emerged and I captured it.
Only that moment remains.
A reminder that creativity is alive… and it chooses its own direction.

Art has taught me something powerful
It isn’t only about what we create on the canvas
It’s about what we release from within.

Art is therapy for the mind.
