හවස තේ වලට මාළු පාන්/බනිස්... ☕️
මාළු බනිස් එක්ක බැඳියාවක් නැත්නම් ලංකාවෙ වෙන්න බෑ කියලා හිතෙන තරමට අපි එක්ක හා වෙච්ච තවත් කෑමක් තමයි මාළු බනිස්. කතා කෝටියක් තිබුනත් ඒ හැම එකක්ම ලියන්නත් අමාරු එකේ එකක් ලියන්නම්.

ඉස්සර ඉංග්‍රීසි ඉගෙන ගන්න ගියා අමතර පංතියකට හෙනම සැර ඒ වුනාට මාර හොඳ ගුරුතුමියක් ගාවට. ඇගේ ගෙදර ලඟම රස කෑම පිරුණු පොඩි පෙට්ටි කඩයක් තිබුණා. රස කියන්නෙ ඉතින් සේරම බනිස් වර්ග, ගඩා ගෙඩි වර්ග පිරිච්ච දැක්කත් ආස හිතෙන කඩයක්. මේක හින්දා එහෙම නෙවෙයි අපිනම් පන්ති ගියේ ඉංග්‍රීසි ඉගෙනගන්න තියෙන ආසාවට හරිද. 😜
දවසක් ටීචර් එන්න පරක්කුයි කියලා එයාගෙ මහත්තයා කිව්වම ඉතින් අපි හරි කණගාටුවට පත්වෙලා ප්‍රයොජනවත් දෙයක් කරමු කියලා ගියා කඩේට. කාලය රන් හා සමානයි කියලා අපි ඒ දවස්වලත් දැනගෙන හිටියා. 😬
අමාරුවෙන් සල්ලි එකතු කරලා බනිස් කීපයකුයි බීම බෝතල් දෙකකුයි ගත්තා විතරයි ටීචර්‍රගෙ වාහනේ වංගුව ගන්නවා දැක්කා. කොහෙ කන්නද ඉතින් දුවපු දිවිල්ලට හති ගිල්ලා කිව්වොත් නිවැරදියි.
දැන් ඉතින් පාඩමත් පටන්ගෙන ටිකක් දුර යද්දි බනිස් කෑලි පන්තිය පුරාම හුවමාරු වෙනවා. හරිම සහජීවනයක් තිබ්බෙ ඒවට. ටික වෙලාවකින් ඌයි කියනවා විතරයි ඇහුනේ.බලද්දි පෝලිමේ කෙලවරේම එකා කාලා එහෙමම එහා පැත්තේ හිටිය කෙනාට බනිස් කෑල්ල දීලා. කරුමෙට එහා පැත්තේ ඉඳගෙන ඉඳලා තියෙන්නේ බනිස් සෙල්ලම අල්ලගන්න එක හිතින් පෙරමුණට ආපු අපේ හරි හුරතල් ටීචර්. වෙලාවට බනිස් දුන්නු එකා home work කරලාත් නෑ. අසරණයා ගෙදර එනකම් කන අතගගා ආවේ.
හැබැයි ඉතින් ටීචර්ගෙ හොඳකම කියන්නේ එදා ඉඳලා අපිට තේ එකයි ටී බනිසයි වැරදුනේ නෑ. ඕවට තමා කියන්නේ හැම කළු වලාවකම රිදී රේඛාවක් තියෙනවා ළමයි කියලා.
ඉස්සර දැන් වගේ වෙලාව තිතට මැනලා ඉගැන්නුවේ නෑ ගුරුවරු. හරියට පැය දෙකක් දෙකහමාරක් පන්තිය. දැන් ජීවතුන් අතරත් නැතත් ඇයව හරි ආදරෙන් මතක් කරනවා. ❤️

අද මේ රසම රස මාළු බනිස් රෙසිපිය ආදරණීය රොෂ්ගේ. 😍රසයි මෙලෙකයි වැරදුනේම නෑ.
මේ හැමදේම අපි එක්ක බෙදාගන්නවට බොහොම ස්තූතියි. 🙏 ඔන්න ඉතින් ඔයා කියන දේ ඇහුවා දිල්. 🤩

Weekend lunch is one the most special meals of the week with my family. It’s almost a celebration sitting together and enjoying the food. It’s also important to make sure I cater to everyone.

This is one of our weekend lunches - rice meal with long beans curry, cucumber and tomato salad, fish cutlets, boiled eggs and deviled prawns.

We all love to eat prawns, so it's a good way for me to introduce spicy tastes to my kids, because it's important for kids to get used to different tastes so that they can adapt easily when they grow up.
