Precision Cold Chain for Korean Mushroom Exports
A 2°C reading on a temperature logger does not, by itself, confirm that mushrooms arrived in good condition.
Even when re**er data remains within the target range, respiration heat, moisture buildup, packaging conditions, and uneven airflow can still contribute to condensation, browning, and quality loss.
Ahjin Trans reviews the shipment data needed to assess cold-chain risk before loading. Core temperature, pre-cooling status, MAP film specifications, pallet configuration, and T-floor airflow should be examined together rather than as separate variables.
For enoki mushroom exports to the United States, FDA Import Alert 25-21 and current Green List status should be checked alongside importer and food-safety requirements. MAP permeability and re**er ventilation also need to be reviewed as one system, as restricted gas exchange may create additional quality risks.
Mushrooms are living cargo. Managing them requires more than maintaining a temperature setpoint. Product temperature, moisture, gas balance, airflow, and transit time must work together throughout the shipment.
For a technical shipment review and quotation, please provide the mushroom variety, origin and destination, shipment volume, core-temperature data, MAP film specifications, target delivery date, and current FDA status.
