Welcome To Siem Reap Province Cambodia 🇰🇭

Kampong Phluk isn’t a floating village in the sense of houses literally bobbing freely on the water year-round. Instead, homes are built on very tall wooden stilts (often 6–10 m high) so that during the wet season (roughly May–October) rising waters cover the ground below and make the village appear to float. When the water levels are low (typically November–April), the stilts are fully exposed and you can walk between buildings.
