Time to gives some back to our community. :)

We are so excited to announce our new Not-for-Profit sector of Whole Lotta Soul Collective 🌿

✨✨Soul Food✨✨

The Soul Food Fund is an initiative created from our heart and souls to give back directly to the beautiful community of Cambodia. 🍃
We knew from the beginning of starting up that we wanted to create a Not-for-Profit slice to the brand but in these trying times it just created itself so organically and we realised how we could just keep it simple and still make in immense impact on helping those who need it most in the Cambodian Community.

How will work?

Well every month we will dedicate a specific portion of our intake to a special cause or to supporting an existing Not-for Profit organisation doing good in our community, as there are so many incredible organisations already doing good.

🌿
For the remainder of April and the month of May %100 of Loz’s intake from weekend Yoga Classes will go directly into the Soul Food Fund.
All classes will be donation based so feel free to donate what you can afford and join the class. Or if you don’t want to join but still wish to donate of course that’s appreciated too. 💛

Who are this months Recipients for the Soul Food Fund?

Well to this special chapter we have decided to distribute the funds ourselves in the form of bags of rice & fish for families to make long lasting dry fish.
We have done our research and checked where Food is already being distributed so we aren’t overlapping. The village we have decided to distribute food to, we know well and are located right by Angkor Wat. Many of the families run small shops near the temples and many of the families started these shops on finance too. With a relentless downfall in tourism each year especially the last 2 years the families were already struggling to stay ontop of their debts and put food on the table. Now due to Covid-19 and having been forced to stay at home due to no customers and extreme health concerns, they’re in a world of heaviness, struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
One way we can carry loving care quite effortlessly from one human to another is to provide some food for the table. With each household averaging around 10 people, a bag of rice and fresh fish to preserve can go surprisingly far in uplifting the hearts of these beautiful people in trying times.
If you wish to donate directly or join a class where all proceeds go directly to The Soul Food Fund and back to the people...please watch this space for announcements on how to do so... or DM us if you know of a wonderful Not-For-Profit organisation already giving back to the Cambodian Community so we can consider them for the future.

There’s something so satisfying about feeding yourself straight from nature.
One of my favourite things about Cambodia is when you’re hanging out with some locals of any age old and young out in the jungle or in their home villages.
They just forage what ever fruit is growing in the trees around them. Sometimes big fruits like Jackfruit or Papaya or coconuts other times sour little Cambodian berries, seeds or leafs they use for soup. It just amazes me how in 2020 all generations of the Cambodian People have that knowledge inside of what to eat and they eat it. Sometimes medicinal, sometimes to help with digestion or cleanse the pallet with other foods. The longer I have lived in Cambodia the more I have adapted to a true Cambodian diet (besides the truckloads of rice lol) but it amazes me how good my body feels in the climate and conditions of Cambodia when I eat locally grown and locally made foods.
There is so much wisdom and thought behind Cambodian Food besides just the taste.
Our rangers on retreats often share with us knowledge in foraging for medicinal fruits and ingredients and how they can help us.
Oh Cambodia I just love you more every day I know you. 💛🇰🇭

Happy Khmer New Year! 🍃
To all those who hold Cambodia near and dear to their heart and of course the gorgeous people that make Cambodia the soul enriching, warm, welcoming, wonderful place that it is. 🌿🌴🙏🏾
We may not be able to come together this year, joining hands, jumping around in glistening, infinite drops of water & dance in radiant joy.
But we can still Soul Connect.
Person to person. Province to province, country to country. To celebrate all that Cambodia is and the special gift of belonging that it brings to so many souls each and and every day.
Thank you Cambodia for being our home. Thank you to the beautiful people of Cambodia for being so warm and welcoming to us and our collective. Thank you to the community that resides not only here but world wide who have shown the world the hidden beauty that is Cambodia.
Thank you to the energy that’s in the earth here and for providing us guidance to step into our purpose.
We just want to share this precious gift & feeling with the world.
To show you all the reason’s we love the Kingdom of Wonder so much.

Soaking off the heat in yet another beautiful, natural, off the map destination in Cambodia! 💦🌴
Do you know we create customised tours to fit your budget, your comforts and fulfill your wildest dreams?
We love nature and sharing the beauty of Mother Earth with every one we meet. We often try to encourage our tour teams to give back to the earth by using more sustainable measures to travel and perhaps a rubbish clean up on our jungle treks.

Watching the sunset from a mystical mountain top. 🖖🏾🌾
In December we cohosted a retreat with ontop of Mt Kulen. The most Sacred Mountain in the whole of Cambodia. It was a memorable experience for our guests and team to say the least. Spending 2 nights camping in the tranquil surrounds of the jungle, trekking, learning yoga, learning about natural foraging & sharing memories made. T was everything we had dreamed of creating and sharing with like minded Nature Lovers. Our focus as a team is to bring people in touch with nature & culture, to fill their souls and bridge the connection between human beings and Nature. We will be bringing more of these retreats to you all in the future as we feel there is nothing more uplifting and soul soothing that spending time together admiring all of nature’s beauty and basking in that precious gift.
Want to find out more about our upcoming retreats? Or maybe even create a customised retreat to experience true Cambodia solo or as a group? Send us an email.

Radiant happy faces on one of our Jungle treks ontop of Mt Kulen. 🌿
We love to take treks through the jungle to gorgeous destinations led by an experienced ranger. Often they share with us knowledge on Ancient Natural Medicines we may find foraging in Natural environments of Cambodia or explain to us different types of fauna we see during our walks.
It’s uplifting, if awe inspiring & we find it brings radiant hearts to light in a renewed and refreshed sensation.
Join us for a private or group tour booking. For a truly unique experience awakening the rejuvenation that comes with getting in touch with nature.
Look for our upcoming retreats across Cambodia or Email us to create a special private retreat tailored to meet your wildest dreams.
