Living in harmony with the river, this small community reveres the environment they live in Koh Tnoat Community Based Ecotourism hosts and provides the services to visitors since it was established in October 2014. Koh Thnout is a beautiful and quiet island, six kilometers away from Sambor discrict and about 30 minutes transfer by fast boat. The local music with traditional dance cheerfully hosts
the tourists all nights. There are 93 families and 415 people living in this village, about 95% of them are farmers. Besides growing rice and other crops they are also fishermen. There are six homestays available for hosting tourists and 30 achievement projects which provided by group of tourists via CRDT-Tours (Cambodian Rural Development Tour) such as 9 Chicken Pens, 3 Pig Pens, 7 Rain Water Containers, 8 Toilets, 1 Classroom at Secondary School and 2 Water Supply Systems.
