សហគមន៍អេកូទេសចរណ៍កោះច្រែង - Koh Chraeng Community Based-Ecotourism The unique Koh Chraeng island is a remote farming community that strives to live in balance with the Mekong River that surrounds it.

Koh Jraeng Village (corn farming village) is a village situated in an island south of Kratie Town around 12km. It is one of the village that people economic activity relies on growing corn after rice growing. The village is full of corn field and fruit tree. People of Koh Jraeng also rais livestock such as chicken, pig and cow. People of Koh Jraeng are very welcoming and friendly. Riding along the

village can be an amazing experience. You can take the opportunity to spot the bats in the village as well when you are visiting the village. Riding back on the west bank trial will give you another experience of local way of life along the Mekong river. Koh Jraeng is also a home to the bats. If you interested in learning about the bats it is a good place to visit. These bats have been living in the village long time ago. There used to be a conflict between local people and the bats because they eat the local people fruit. Since the conservation project start in the village everyone was given the awareness on the bats village.
