Did you know many travelers no longer need a Kenya eTA at all?
That’s right, Kenya has expanded its visa-free access. Here’s the full breakdown 👇
➡️ Exempt, No eTA Required
✅ 180-Day Stay (6 months)
Nationals of the East African Partner States are exempt for stays up to 180 days.
Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
✅ 90-Day Stay
Nationals of the following countries are exempt for stays up to 90 days.
Botswana, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Barbados, Belize, Brunei, Cyprus, Dominica, Fiji Islands, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, San Marino, Sierra Leone, Singapore, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, The Bahamas, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
✅ 60-Day Stay
Nationals of these countries are exempt for stays up to 60 days.
Algeria, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sudan, Togo, Tunisia.
If you are not in the exemption lists above (or are travelling under conditions not covered by exemption), then you must apply for a Kenya eTA before your trip.
