AGL Kenya has taken a major step forward with the unveiling of a new fleet of 36 trucks, strengthening our transport and distribution capabilities and reinforcing our commitment to meeting evolving customer needs across Kenya.
This investment forms part of AGL’s five-year regional strategy to scale transport capacity across East Africa. By deploying modern, reliable equipment, we are building a stronger logistics backbone that supports efficient cargo movement within Nairobi, along key corridors, and into cross-border markets.
Speaking at the unveiling, Jason Reynard, Regional Managing Director – East Africa, noted that the fleet expansion is central to AGL’s long-term vision, enabling sustainable growth, stronger infrastructure, and enhanced service delivery as a leading logistics integrator.
The new trucks significantly enhance our operational capacity, improving reliability, turnaround times, and service consistency. They also position AGL Kenya to respond to growing demand for high-quality, compliant, and sustainable distribution solutions, particularly within the Nairobi metropolitan area.
This milestone is further strengthened by our strategic partnership with CFAO, which continues to support the delivery of modern transport solutions built on shared standards, trust, and operational excellence.
Commenting on the investment, Martin Mwangi, Managing Director, AGL Kenya, emphasized that while trucks move goods, AGL delivers end-to-end logistics solutions and exceptional service that truly respond to customer demands.
Through this fleet expansion, AGL Kenya continues to grow its footprint, create employment, strengthen customer value, and contribute meaningfully to trade and economic growth across Kenya and the wider region.
