Thanksgiving in Nairobi: Experiencing the Big 5 ✅
If you're ever in Nairobi, a visit to Nairobi National Park is a must! Imagine spotting giraffes gracefully roaming with the city's skyline in the background—a safari in the heart of a bustling metropolis.

During our visit, our guide led us on a journey through wildlife. From giraffes and zebras to wildebeests, hyenas, cheetahs, and even impalas, every moment was filled with awe. We also encountered warthogs, ostriches, and Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. Head’s up, the elephants are not included in the safari experience at Nairobi National Park. There is a separate admission free to have an up-close experience , you can visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll have opportunity to see baby elephants being cared for.

The Best Time to Visit
If you’re planning to see the Big 5 in Kenya, the best months are December to February or June to October. These are the dry seasons when animals are more easily spotted near water sources. However, Nairobi National Park is a year-round gem, offering incredible encounters regardless of when you visit.
