With the long days, you can relax and enjoy some time before the sun sets on the horizon. The sky gets painted with shades of orange, pink, purple, and red, and the clouds reflect the light beautifully.

We conducted a night tour with guests from Italy.
Due to many roads being impassable because of landslides caused by the heavy rain two weeks ago, we enjoyed a walking tour instead.
We were able to see more than 10 Amami rabbits, Amami red frogs, akamata snakes, and large hermit crabs.
We are proud that Andrea, who travels around the world, chose Japan as the first country to visit twice, and among all places, chose to visit Amami.

It is now lily season in Tokunoshima. Seeing so many of them blooming along the roadside makes you feel the arrival of early summer.

Returning to Tobe village again today, just like last night.
I had delicious island banana cinnamon toast at the weekend cafe "Agari Mata" in the village.

Today was my son's nursery school excursion, so I made his favorite Spider-Man bento. I got some help from the convenience store's deli section, but managed to complete it somehow.

We had a wonderful visit from an Italian guest and had a fun tour! They are studying Japanese and it was a pleasure to see them greet the island's residents, show respect for the culture and nature. We look forward to meeting again! Thanks also to Tabitomo-Tokunoshima who introduced us (^^)

The writers for VisitKyushu have visited us in Tokunoshima!
Unfortunately it was raining, I've had a great time!
The last three photos were taken after the sunny day the next day.
