Harajuku has different culture from Aoyama, not that supper luxurious atmosphere, more like laid-back.

It's really hot these days, yes! summer already has come!
As I announced you yesterday , I'll have a collaborating tour with Odango Language Club on July 30th.
After language exchange session, we will have a Muchan Tour from 1:00PM.
(The language exchange session will start at 10:45 at NY burger)
Join us casually.
Let's talk talk and talk!!!
The destination is Tokyo Station.
Many people use this station, and you feel it is a beautiful building. It must be interesting to find why such a great station was built in this site, how this building was devastated just after wold war 2, and what kind of process was under going until the completion the current building. There were several dramas during construction.
Please join Muchan Tour!
It is no problem to join only one session, which one of Odango Language Club or Muchan Tour.
I'm going to introduce these historical and artistic dramas in both English and Japanese plus KANSAIBEN!!!
Walking watching and talking to each other must be fun!

すでにもう夏がやってきました！今年があけましておめでとう、からはや半年、と言われると焦りますが焦ることはありません、楽しくいきましょう！
おだんごランゲージクラブとコラボした新しいツアーをやります。
お気軽にご参加ください。色んな言語で、しゃべってしゃっって、しゃべり倒しちゃいましょう！
遠慮も情けも無用、「これを伝えたいよ〜パッション」で、多言語おしゃべりマラソンです。
ツアーの行き先は東京駅。多くの人が使ったことがある東京駅、
なんでこの場所にできたの？
最初の東京駅はどんな感じやった？
戦争直後はどんな姿になってたん？
2007年に工事が始まるまではどんな姿やったか覚えてる？
2012年にできた今の駅舎は、建て直しと違って補修してできたってほんと？　
いろ〜んな大河ドラマみたいなん、ありましたよ！
しゃべりながら一緒に探してみませんか？

[Tsukiji & Hamarikyu Garden]　re-scheduled!
Once I have been said by a person from U.S.that he was a big fan of English gardens but not that much of Japanese gardens.
We were talking about the reason to serch the differences between English gardens and Japanese gardens, then some unpredicted power in Japanese gardens turned out to be shown.
Now shall we find it walking along the paths in Hamarikyu garden?
How about being sure again why Namiyokejinja Shrine is in Tsukiji by your own steps?
Moreover where is the resilient powe from, which is getting over many changes due to the pandemic?
Tsukijihonganji Temple looks very different from any other temple in Japan, do you think why???
This tour is a bilingual tour, which is in English and Japanese with Kansai-ben accent.

【Muchan Tour vol.6】report :
It was a beautiful day today.
We visited Meijijingu Shrine in the morning.
The great aroma of trees in this rich forest reached us soon after gettig into the precinct.
This forest is actually an artificial forest created by some botanists to make it rich forest in 100 years.
They chose evergreen broad-leaves trees carefully. Now this forest becomes like a sanctuary without any steps of human being for 100 years.
I introduced a couple of camphor trees tided with a sacred rope, which is representative of a nice husband and a wife. Next we walked around the place where votive tablets are suspended, looking at them. The oracle in this shrine is the poem made by Emperor Meiji written in both English and Japanese.
We were having a conversation about the reason why Emperor Meiji became a god in the 20th century.

We appreciated Yoyogi national gymnastics designed by Kenzo Tange, and Yoyogi Park which used to be venues and the olympic village in the previous Tokyo Olympic in 1964 from on the pedestrian bridge.
We were also looking at Co-op Olympia built in 1965, which would be a kind of legacy. The price of this apartment was said to be 100 million yen even at that time!

We walked Takesh*tadori St. via Brahms Alley, and went to Tokyu Plaza talking about characteristic Harajuku fashion and its back ground.

After that we appreciated beautiful architecture along Omotesando Av. such as Dior, GYRE, etc.
We had an interesting conversation about the reason why this avenue became such a beautiful show case of architecture.
Next, we were walking around Minami Aoyama area up to Nezu Museum.
The guest seemed so excited to see Prada and Nezu Museum!
Then I introduced a cute cafe along a back street of Aoyamadori Av and took a break for a while on the roof top of the cafe.
It was a lot of fun today !
