ℹ️ As of today, August 31st, the swimming period at Shirahama Ohama Beach and Kujuppama Beach has ended.
This marks the end of the swimming period at all beaches in Shimoda City.
Thank you to everyone who visited this year! 🌊✨

Starting tomorrow, September 1st, there will be no lifeguards or monitors on duty.

As of August 23rd, the six beaches in Shimoda City have concluded their opening period for swimming.
For a safe beach experience, it is recommended to visit the swimming areas that are open during the designated period, where lifeguards and monitors are present🏖️✨
In Shimoda City, Shirahama Chuo will remain open until Sunday, August 30th, while Shirahama Ohama and Kyūjūhama will be open until Monday, August 31st🌺!

💠After the Hydrangea Festival💠
This year, we have floated hydrangeas pruned from Shimoda Park in the monument aquarium located in the rotary of Izukyu Shimoda Station.✨

Today (July 3rd), we worked in the morning, creating a vibrant space where colorful hydrangeas decorate the water's surface.🫧💎
This year's exhibition is limited to six days from July 3rd (Friday) to 5th (Sunday) and from July 10th (Friday) to 12th (Sunday)!
Although the hydrangea festival has ended, you can still enjoy the hydrangeas of Shimoda for a little longer.😌
If you are using Izukyu Shimoda Station, please take a moment to stop by and see it.

*Please note that the content may change or be canceled without notice due to weather or other circumstances.
*Pruning and collecting plants in Shimoda Park is only conducted by authorized personnel.
