キニティウの学校新年度が始まりました
生徒数は、卒業生・転校生と新入生の人数がだいたい一緒でまた同じくらい（65人）です。
昨年から継続・維持する以外で今年行う・目指す活動は
1日2食で提供してきた給食を3食にすること
キニティウコーヒーファーム創設
学校菜園の拡大
男女共用の寄宿舎を分けること
アクティビティクラスの成果を発表していくこと
などです！　メッセージ‐Natsumi Harada‐

私たちは決して自分自身の成長を諦めない。と言葉がありました。とても力強く勇気の力が湧いてきます。
ベーコンは次のように語っています。「自らの富を否定し、自らの力のみを信頼できる人間だけが、自分の水桶から水を飲み、自分のパンを食べる方法を学ぶ」。
みんなで子供たちを一緒に応援していきましょう。

The new school year has begun at Kinitheu School.
The student population is roughly the same (65 students), with the number of graduating and transfer students roughly equaling the number of new students.
In addition to continuing and maintaining activities from last year, the activities we are working on and aiming for this year include:
Increasing the number of school lunches from two to three per day
Establishing the Kinitheu Coffee Farm
Expanding the school vegetable garden
Separating the unisex dormitory
Presenting the results of activity classes

チッタゴン丘陵地帯の子どもたちは、国内紛争の歴史、マイノリティという境遇、辺境地に暮らす理由などで就学・進学率が国内で最も貧しく、教育格差のほか多くの多くの問題を抱えています。
NGO ChotoBela・NPO法人チョトベラは、進学支援の『里親さん』を随時募集しております。
あわせて寄付を募るキャンペーンも行っております。

For ChotoBela's Foster Parent Support Activities

Children in the Chittagong Hill Tracts have the lowest school enrollment and progression rates in the country due to a history of internal conflict, their minority status, and the fact that they live in remote areas. They face many challenges, including educational disparities.
The NGO ChotoBela and NPO ChotoBela are always looking for foster parents to help support their children's education.
We are also running a donation campaign.

62人の学生がキニテウに戻ってきた。
それから、私たちは学校生活のために真剣に働いています。
地元で5年ぶりに平らな遊び場ができた。 Covidロックダウンで一度失った...
そして、私たちはKinitheu学校の農場を再開しました。 少しでも自給自足できるように、8本植えたよ。
「生き残る種の中で最も強いものではなく、生き残る最も頭の良いものでもない。
それは変化に最も適応しやすいものです。‐Kinitheu School-

とても良い言葉で共感します。世の中の半分は外部環境の変化による影響が大きいと言われております。
千変万化に生きるには、捨てることができるか、できないかの違いかなと感じています。
みんなで子供たちを一緒に応援していきましょう。

After the April break...
62 students have returned to Kinitheu.
Since then, we have been working hard for our school life.
We have a flat playground in our hometown for the first time in 5 years. We lost it during the Covid lockdown...
And we've reopened the Kinitheu school farm. We've planted 8 trees so that we can be a little more self-sufficient.
"It is not the strongest of species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change." - Kinitheu School-
These are very good words and I empathize with them. It is said that half of the world is greatly influenced by changes in the external environment.
I feel that the difference between living in an ever-changing world is whether you can throw things away or not.

The sensations that children feel from the natural environment enrich their sensibilities and help them develop big dreams for the future.
The strength nurtured by minorities will later turn into kindness, and in an environment free of conflict, beautiful flowers will bloom.

私たちの見守っているNPO法人チョトベラの描写です。「人と自然の調和」をとても良く捉えている一枚で好きな写真です。成長過程にある子供たちは、自然と触れ合うことで生きる活力を吸収して行くと感じています。フランスの哲学者ヴォルテールは、「自然は常に教育よりも一層大きな力を持っていた」ようです。子供たちを一緒に応援していきましょう。　

This is a depiction of NPO ChotoBera we watch over. This is one of my favorite photos because it captures the harmony between people and nature very well. I feel that growing children absorb the energy to live by coming into contact with nature. According to the French philosopher Voltaire, "Nature has always had greater power than education." Let's support the children together.

子供の頃、大人になることは遠い先に感じられていた。自分が大人になったらこんなふうになってみたい、あんなふうになってみたいと大きな夢を持っていた。そして、成長していく過程で少しずつ困難は起きてくる。自分で解決できることと出来ないことが次第に分かっていく、それはきっと大人になって行くことなんだろう。
ＮＰＯ法人チョトベラは、子供たちの食料の確保から進学支援、教育支援の里親探しと落ち着くことなく、自然に活動し続けております。
ソクラテスは、「 満足は自然の与える富である。贅沢は人為的貧困である。」と言う言葉を残しているようです。子供たちを一緒に応援していきましょう。

When I was a child, adulthood seemed far away. He had big dreams of what he wanted to be like when he grew up. And as we grow, difficulties arise little by little. I guess that's part of growing up, as you gradually come to understand what you can and cannot solve on your own. NPI ChotoBera continues to work naturally, from securing food for children to supporting them in higher education and finding foster parents to support their education.
Socrates seems to have left behind the words, “Satisfaction is natural wealth. Luxury is artificial poverty.” Let's support our children together.

NPO法人チョトベラさんからキニティウスクールのメッセージです。「今年は卒業生が7人とこれまでで一番多く、しかも全員がチョトベラの進学支援を希望しました。この5年で子どもたちの親に信頼されてきたのか、進学にも少しずつ前向きになってきたのか、こうした結果となりました。」
哲学者ベーコンは「最短の近道はたいていの場合、いちばん悪い道だ。だから最善の道を通りたければ、多少なりとも回り道をしなくてはならない」と言っているようです。
子供たちを一緒に応援していきましょう。　

This is a message from NPO ChotoBera about Kinitheu School. “This year's number of graduates was seven, the largest number ever, and all of them requested ChotoBera's support for higher education. イギリスの哲学者フランシス・ベーコンは、「人間は、読書ではなく労働によって自己を完成させ、人間を向上させるのは文学ではなく生活であり、学問ではなく行動であり、そして伝記ではなくその人の人間性なのである」との言葉を残しているようです。
