2026年5月20日(水)　　飛鳥III（アスカスリー）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！

日本船籍のラグジュアリー船、飛鳥III号（総トン数 52,265トン、全長 230m、乗客定員数752人、客室381）が2026年5月20日に那覇港に初寄港しました。この船の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが那覇クルーズターミナルで開かれ、呉屋健一那覇港管理組合参事監と同船の神谷敏充船長が双方の記念品を交換しました。また、勇壮なエイサーの演舞によって飛鳥IIIの初寄港を祝いました。

セレモニー後に関係者のための船内ツアーが行われ、船内をくまなく見学することができました。この船は郵船クルーズ社が保有する船の中で最大の船で、2025年1月18日に進水した、世界でも珍しい有数の最新鋭の機器を搭載した船です。具体的には、船の操縦はほとんどの場合、自動運転システムで運行しており、必要な時だけ船長が操縦かんを握るそうです。また、同船は錨を使用せずに船を停泊できる機能もあるので、重くて大きい錨を下ろして海底のサンゴや岩を破壊しないように環境にも配慮した船です。さらに小型船を８隻搭載しているので、大型船が寄港できない小さな港にその小型船を使ってその港へ上陸できます。ほかにも多くの最新鋭機器が搭載された、飛鳥IIIは日本が誇る一流のクルーズ船だと感じました。今後も同船が那覇港に寄港することを期待したいと思います。

The Japanese-flagged luxury cruise ship Asuka III (gross tonnage: 52,265 tons; length: 230 meters; passenger capacity: 752 with 381 cabins) made its maiden call at Naha Port on May 20, 2026. To commemorate the ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held at the Naha Cruise Terminal. Mr. Kenichi Goya, Director-General of Naha Port Authority and the captain Toshimitsu Kamiya of the ship exchaned commemorative gifts. A spirited Eisa dance performance was held to celebrate the Asuka III's maiden call.

After the ceremony, a tour of the ship was held for the attendees, allowing them to explore every corner of the vessel. This ship is the largest in the fleet of Yusen Cruise and is a brand-new vessel that was launched on January 18, 2025; it is equipped with some of the most advanced technology in the world. Specifically, the ship is operated by an autonomous navigation system most of the time, and the captain only takes the helm when it is necessary.Also, the vessel is equipped with a system that allows the ship to anchor without using a traditional anchor, making it an environmentally friendly ship that avoids damaging the seabed's coral and rocks by droping the heavy and large anchors. Furthermore, since the ship carries eight small boats, they can use the boat to disembark at smaller ports where larger cruise ships cannot dock. Eqquiped with many other state-of-the-art features on board, I felt that the Asuka III is a first-class cruise ship that Japan can be proud of. We hope that this ship will continue to make calls at Naha Port in the future.

2026年5月15日(金)　スワン　ヘレニック　ミネルヴァ　(Swan Hellenic Minerva）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！ 　
　
キプロスに拠点を置く新興クルーズ船社スワンヘレニック社のマルタ船籍ラグジュアリー探検船、スワン・ヘレニック・ミネルヴァ号（総トン数10,617トン、全長 115m、乗客定員数152人）が2026年5月15日に那覇港に初寄港しました。

ミネルヴァ号はラグジュアリークラスの小型船ですが、最新鋭の探検船で特に船首は氷の漂う海を氷りをかき分けながら進めるように設計された特殊な船体により、世界で最もアクセスが困難な地域への航行が可能となっています。船旅を快適に楽しめるよう、船の横揺れを軽減出来る特大スタビライザーを備え、探検クルーズを可能な限りスムーズにします。またゾディアックゴムボートを12隻搭載し一度に全員が船外活動を行うことができるユニークな船です。今回の航海はフィリピンを出発し、沖縄や鹿児島などを巡る11泊12日の航路で那覇港に寄港した。

この船の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが那覇クルーズターミナルで開かれ、照屋寛志那覇港管理組合常勤副管理者と同船の船長が双方の記念品を交換しました。今後も同船が那覇港に寄港することを期待したいと思います。

The Swan Hellenic Minerva, a Malta-flagged luxury expedition ship operated by the Cyprus-based emerging cruise line Swan Hellenic (gross tonnage: 10,617 tons; length: 115 meters; passenger capacity: 152), made its maiden call at the Port of Naha on May15, 2026.

Although the Minerva is a small luxury vessel, it is a state-of-the-art expedition ship. Its unique hull, designed specifically to cut through ice-filled waters, enables it to navigate to some of the most remote regions in the world. The Minerva is an expedition ship specializing in observing polar nature and wildlife, as well as glacier exploration. To ensure a comfortable cruise, the ship is equipped with extra-large stabilizers that reduce rolling of the ship, making exploration cruise as smooth as possible. It is a unique ship that carries 12 Zodiac rubber boats, allowing the entire guests to conduct out-of-ship activities at the same time. This voyage departed from the Philippines and made a stop at Naha Port as part of an 11-night, 12-day itinerary that included stops in Okinawa and Kagoshima.

To commemorate the ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held at the Naha Cruise Terminal. Mr.HIroshi Teruya , Executive Vice President of Naha Port Authority and the captain of the ship exchaned commemorative gifts. 2026年4月15日(水)　　ルミナラ（LUMINARA）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！

マルタ船籍のラグジュアリー船、ルミナラ号（総トン数 48,072トン、全長 241.84m、乗客定員数452人、客室226）が2026年4月15日に那覇港に初寄港しました。

この船はマリオットインターナショナル社を親会社とする、高級ホテルブランドとして有名な米国のリッツカールトン・ホテルが、２０１７年に事業多角化の一環としてクルーズ事業への参入するために設立したザ・リッツ・カールトン・ヨットコレクション社の船です。高級ブランドホテルのクルーズ事業参入は世界で初めてで、同船は同社の三番目の船となります。このルミナラ号の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが船内で開かれ、高良鋭那覇港管理組合総務部部長と同船の船長が双方の記念品を交換しました。今後も同船が那覇港に寄港することを期待したいと思います。

The Malta-flagged luxury cruise ship Luminara (gross tonnage: 48,072 tons; length: 241.84 meters; passenger capacity: 452 with 226 cabins) made its maiden call at Naha Port on April 15, 2026.

This ship belongs to The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, a company established in 2017 by The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, a renowned luxury hotel brand in the United States and a subsidiary of Marriott International, as part of its business diversification efforts to enter the cruise business. This marks the world's first entry into the cruise business by a luxury hotel brand, and the ship will be the company's third vessel.To commemorate the ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held on board. Mr. Satoshi Takara, Director General of Naha Port Authority and the captain of the ship exchaned commemorative gifts. We hope that this ship will continue to make calls at Naha Port in the future.

2026年4月6日(月)　　マイン・シフ6（MEIN SCHIFF6）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！

ドイツマーケットを対象に設立された客船オペレーターのTUI社が運行するクルーズ船マイン・シフ6号（総トン数 98,811トン、全長 295.2m、乗客定員数2,794人、客室1,267）が、４月6日（金）に那覇クルーズターミナルに初寄港しました。このドイツのTUI社が運行するクルーズ船が那覇港に寄港するのはこれが初めてで、これを機に今後も同社の船が那覇港に寄港する事が期待されます。

同船の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが船内で開かれ、照屋寛志那覇港管理組合常勤副管理者とヴラディスラフ・バレフ (Vladislav Balev) 船長が双方の記念品を交換しました。

The cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 (gross tonnage: 98,817 tons; length: 295.2 meters; passenger capacity: 2,794; number of cabins: 1,267), operated by TUI—a cruise operator established to serve the German market—made its maiden call at the Naha Cruise Terminal on Friday, April 6.

This is the first time a cruise ship operated by the German company TUI has called at Naha Port, and it is hoped that this will lead to more of the company’s ships calling at Naha Port in the future.

To commemorate the ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held on board. Mr. Hiroshi Teruya, Executive Vice President of Naha Port Authority and the captain Vladislav Balev of the ship exchaned commemorative gifts.

2026年3月20日(金)　　MSC マニフィカ（MSC MAGNIFICA）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！

パナマ船籍のクルーズ船、MSC マニフィカ号（総トン数 95,128トン、全長 293.8m、乗客定員数3，223人、客室1,259）が、3月20日（金）に那覇クルーズターミナルに初寄港しました。

同船の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが船内で開かれ、照屋寛志那覇港管理組合副管理者が記念の盾を船長へ贈りました。また、船長は那覇港管理組合へ同船の記念の盾を贈り、双方の記念品を交換しました。

The Panama-flagged cruise ship MSC Magnifica (gross tonnage: 95,128 tons; length: 293.8 meters; passenger capacity: 3,223; number of cabins: 1,259) made its maiden call at the Naha Cruise Terminal on Friday, March 20.

To commemorate the ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held on board. Mr. Hiroshi Teruya, Executive Vice President of Naha Port Authority, presented a commemorative plaque made of blue Ryukyu glass to the captain of the ship. In return, the captain presented a commemorative plaque to Naha Port Authority.

2026年1月21日(水)　　アイーダ・ディーヴァ（AIDAdiva）号の初寄港式典が行われました！！

イタリア船籍のクルーズ船、船首に赤い唇の絵が描かれた、アイーダ・ディーヴァ（AIDAdiva）号（総トン数 68,500トン、全長 252m、乗客定員数2,050人、客室1,025）が、1月21日（水）に那覇クルーズターミナルに初寄港しました。

このユーニークな同船の初寄港を記念して、歓迎セレモニーが那覇クルーズターミナルで開かれ、照屋寛志那覇港管理組合副管理者が記念の盾を船長へ贈りました。また、船長は那覇港管理組合へ同船の記念の盾を贈り、双方の記念品を交換しました。

The Italian-flagged cruise ship AIDAdiva—featuring a red pair of lips painted on its bow (gross tonnage: 68,500 tons; length: 252 meters; passenger capacity: 2,050; number of cabins: 1,025)—made its maiden call at the Naha Cruise Terminal on Wednesday, January 21.

To commemorate the unique ship's maiden call at the port, a welcome ceremony was held at the Naha Cruise Terminal. Hiroshi Teruya, Executive Vice President of Naha Port Authority, presented a commemorative plaque made of blue Ryukyu glass to the captain of the ship. In return, the captain presented a commemorative plaque to Naha Port Authority.
