There’s a specific kind of host moment — when someone walks in *not* for the cause, but for *you.*

She wasn’t really into “peace.”
She came because she was curious about me.

And that’s exactly why this story matters.

By the end of the day, she said:

*”I want to live fully — true to what I actually want, nothing held back. For the ones who never got the chance to live theirs.”*

But here’s what moves me most:

She’d *already* been practicing her own rhythm before this trip — fully herself, every day.

So when she went home, I could already picture it: her noticing small, ordinary joys more deeply. Holding them a little longer.

I don’t need a report. I can just *see* it.

And that — is what makes me happiest as a host.

This tour isn’t only for “peace people.”

It’s for anyone curious enough to sit with it.

There's a specific kind of moment — when "I hope for peace" suddenly becomes "what can I do today?"

She'd walked past the Peace Memorial Museum many times in her life. Same dome. Same path. The street she grew up on.

Then she became a mother.

And the same museum hit differently — walking through as the parent of a small child.

This was the biggest thing I learned, hosting:

Where you stand in your life changes what you hear.

It wasn't new information that shifted her. It was who she'd become in the years between visits.

Sometimes peace isn't a prayer. It's a question — what can I do, today, knowing what I know now?

Swipe → her words.
(The format: ~90 minutes alone in the museum. No commentary. No schedule. Just space.)

Why do good people hurt each other?

Everyone is just trying to protect someone they love.
But sometimes, two kinds of love collide
— and someone gets hurt in between.

Not because people are evil.
Because nobody stopped to ask:
what are we actually fighting for?

That same energy, that desperate need to protect —
imagine if it was pointed in the same direction.

Understanding each other isn’t just nice to have.
It’s everything.

(and yes, Attack on Titan made me think about all of this 🙃)

There were no devils.
Just humans.

She realized this
only after meeting the “enemy.”

Understanding didn’t just change her mind.
It changed her actions.

She chose to help
someone she once hated.

Maybe understanding each other
is where everything begins.

We are living in their dream.
So maybe… it’s our responsibility to protect it.

“Keep remembering we are all humans.”

✽.。.:*・゚ ✽.。.:*・゚ ✽.。.:*・゚ ✽.。.:*・゚ ✽.。.:*・゚

Today, I spoke with a couple from Germany.

After visiting the Peace Memorial Museum,
they shared how shocked they felt.

They also reflected on their own country’s past.
Both Japan and Germany went through very difficult times during World War II,
and they felt a connection through that history.

What stayed with me the most was this:

“Keep remembering we are all humans.”

Hearing this from people who have taken part in peace activities
made me realize the importance of taking action, not just thinking.

Maybe connecting with others who care about peace
is already a small step toward a more peaceful world.

What can you do for peace starting tomorrow?

Today’s conversation went far beyond history.

We talked about how history is written,
how different countries see the same event,
and even about personal experiences living in Japan.

What stayed with me the most was this idea:

Start looking for similarities rather than focusing on differences.
