Sakura are in full bloom now. Here are my top picks of places to go to enjoy taking pictures of sakura.

👉🏻 Sophia University cherry blossom walk. (Definitely not on the to-go list for a regular tourist, but the locals and students love this place.)

👉🏻 Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. (Tokyo has so many wonderful parks and this is one of THE best ones. It’s so huge that even though there are always tons of tourists here, you never feel it crowded.)

👉🏻 Ondagawa River Walk. (Even many Japanese tourists don’t know about this place. It’s only popular with the Tokyo locals. This place is basically a hidden gem, but probably not for long.)

👉🏻 Oookagawa River Walk. (Another place that’s only really popular with the locals. The video I posted was on a cruise down the river. You can enjoy seeing sakura from the water! How cool is that?)

👉🏻 Egawa Seseragi Ryokudo. (This place is not for your regular tourist as it takes a bit of busing and walking, but the view is totally worth it. Just imagine a combination of sakura, tulips and pristine water. I’m sure the road to heaven looks something like this.)

Hi everyone! It’s almost the end of the full bloom sakura season in Tokyo. If you haven’t been already, we highly recommend you stop by Chidorigafuchi, hop on a boat and see the sakura from the lake! These pictures were from last year but sakura just gets more beautiful every year! 🌸

We went 15 mins before opening time on a Saturday and were able to ride after another 20-min wait. Otherwise, be prepared to wait 1.5 to 2 hours! You can check the waiting time on their Twitter via . 🚣‍♀️

Our favorite part was seeing so many ojiichan and obaachan couples. Just goes to show, no matter your age, you can never be too romantic! 💕

Took a weekday getaway to this AMAZING newly opened hotel in Hakone!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

The atmosphere, architecture, decor were all so stylish and modern. You feel relaxed right as you step in.

The hotel manager was this super good-looking and charismatic Japanese man who looks like he just came out of a fashion magazine.

The bath is 100% straight from the source so it’s super hot but that means it has TONS of good minders for your skin. Make sure to mix with cold water! All the hair and skincare products are organic and natural.

The room was absolutely perfect. Beautiful twin beds. So new and beautiful, with a veranda that offers an amazing view of the mountains. I woke up to the sound of chirping birds and beautiful green forests and mountains in front of me. 💖💖

Got the breakfast for ¥1500 which tasted a little too healthy for me but eating it on the patio under the morning sun while chatting with another guest who also came alone was just absolutely perfect.

Their coffee (¥400) was amazing too and the good-looking manager makes it to order right in front of you. I don’t think I’ve ever been more enamored by watching someone make a cup of coffee. I really hope he’s not married cuz I’m planning to go back soon! 😂

Overall highly recommended!
