On Chichibu Railway's "SL Paleo Express," you can enjoy a scenic steam locomotive ride through the beautiful countryside! 🚂

The SL features passenger cars in subdued tones that blend harmoniously with the lush natural surroundings. The seats and walls are unified in a retro brown color scheme, enhancing the nostalgic atmosphere. Hop on the SL Paleo Express, the closest steam locomotive to Tokyo, and enjoy the scenic views of nature from your window✨

On board, you can indulge in unique local gourmet offerings, including bento boxes coordinated with local restaurants along the route. Don't miss out on the limited-edition "SL Paleo WakuWaku Burger"(chicken fillet sandwich with tartar sauce) and "SL Paleo Gelato" (homemade Italian gelato served in a cup with a special SL design label), available exclusively on the train.

The SL Paleo Express operates mainly on weekends and public holidays until November 17, 2024.

【Let's walk through the endless ginkgo tunnel】

Along the "Sky Road" promenade in Chichibu Muse Park, there is a stunning 3km-long row of about 500 ginkgo trees.
From late October to early November, the ginkgo leaves turn golden, forming a beautiful tunnel of autumn foliage.✨
During this period, take a leisurely stroll or ride the train-shaped "Sky Train" to enjoy the scenery.

【Visit a Hidden Dahlia Garden with 350 Varieties in Full Bloom】
Ryokami Sanroku Hana-no-Sato Dahlia Garden is nestled deep in the mountains of the Chichibu region in Saitama Prefecture, a hidden gem.
This mountainous floral garden boasts about 350 varieties and 5,000 dahlia plants in full bloom.
This garden is one of the largest in the Kanto region, where colorful dahlias are planted.
Come and see the dahlias that color the autumn mountains and skies in shades of red, pink, orange, and more!

*The garden is usually open from September 1st-November 3rd each year. Please check the Dahlia Garden's website for more details.
