The "Winter Garden of Light and Flowers 2023" will be held at the Awaji Green Pavilion in Awaji Yumebutai from November 18 to January 14. The theme is "Merry Green Christmas," and the 20-meter space will be decorated with colorful plants and illuminations.It will feature a pink poinsettia tree and a tropical plant tree. 100 Santa Clauses will be on display, and visitors can also enjoy nighttime openings and workshops.

Yellowtail is in season this time of year. Yellowtail caught during this season is known as "cold yellowtail. The taste of "cold yellowtail" is as delicious as the cold, and is one of the most popular winter delicacies along with crab and puffer fish.

The talented chef, who represented Japan in the Sigep International Bakery Cup, a world bread competition in 2020, and won third place in the world, opened a bakery called "Mariage de Farine" (French for "marriage of flour")!

His specialty is "Homemade Curry Bread with Awaji Onions. The sweet bread with a crispy surface and sticky texture is surprisingly light. The mild curry, which is infused with the sweetness of Awaji Island onions and the flavor of beef, enhances the overall taste gorgeously.

Next time I visit Awaji Island, I will put it on my list of places to visit!

Akashi Kaikyo Bridge World" will be held on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (some days may not be open) from March 21 (Tuesday, national holiday) to November 30 (Thursday), 2023!

This tour takes visitors to the main tower, which is about 300 meters above sea level, through an administrative corridor that is normally inaccessible, to experience a 360° panoramic view. (The tour is usually held at the main tower on the Kobe side, but due to elevator construction, it will be held at the main tower on the Awajishima side as last year.

◯About Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is one of the world's largest suspension bridges, spanning the Akashi Strait between Kobe City and Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, with a bridge length of 3,911 meters and a center span of 1,991 meters.

The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge was constructed as part of the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Project to connect Honshu and Shikoku by road and rail.
