〜TSUKURIBAパートナー職人紹介〜

江戸幸勅使川原製作所（東京都葛飾区）

江戸時代から庶民の間で広く使われてきた銅のおろし金は、銅板に鏨(たがね)を一つ一つ手作業で打ち込み、刃を立てて作りあげる。機械による大量生産に押され手仕事で製作する職人は激減し「江戸幸勅使川原製作所」は、現在東京では唯一の工房となる。

抗菌作用のある銅板に錫を引き、鑽を打ち込み刃を立てていく。
機械製のおろし金は刃が整然と並ぶが、手作業で目立てをしたおろし金は寝かせたときに向こう側が見えないほどびっしりと刃が並ぶ。少しずつ刃をずらすことで満遍なく刃が起きて、おろすものに当たる部分が多くなり、同じ力で倍近い量をおろすことができる逸品。

羽子板型のおろし金は江戸時代から変わらぬ形で、現在も愛されるロングセラー商品である。

二宮五郎商店（東京都墨田区）

機械だけでは作り出せない手づくりの味わい、そして革を愛する職人の想いとこだわりが沢山詰まった二宮五郎商店のモノづくりは多く革愛好家を魅了する。確かな目利きと慎重に厳選された様々な種類の革生地を扱い、ちょっとした細部に至るまで計算された使い心地や実用性、そして美のあるクラシックなデザインと仕上げを得意とする1946年創業の二宮五郎商店はアメリカシカゴの有名タンナー会社であるホーウィン社にも認められている東京の老舗革工房である。近年では美濃和紙と豚革を融合させた素材開発や折り紙の構造を発想に得た新商品開発など〈日本らしさ〉を表現したものづくりにも日々取り組むなど、常に新しい発想でクリエイティブを追求する姿勢には余念がない。

They are established in 1946, a long-established leather workshop in Tokyo that is recognized by Horween, a famous tannery company in Chicago, USA.

The great quality of handmade products, which cannot be created by machine-made, and the special philosophy of craftsmen who love leather, fascinate many leather lovers.

Using a wide variety of selected leather fabrics, the company specializes in classic designs and finishes that are comfortable and practical, yet beautiful.

In recent years, they have also been working on projects with a Japanese element, such as developing materials that combine Mino-washi craft paper and developing new products inspired by origami.

やま平窯元（佐賀県有田町）
有田焼の美しさと強さを兼ね揃える極薄１mmの陶器を創り出す窯元で欧米・アジア各国でも人気が高く、国内外ファンがとても多い〈エッグシェル〉が代表作のやま平窯。卵の殻のような極めて薄く繊細な陶器は〈エッグシェル〉と呼ばれ‘世界一薄い焼き物’として江戸時代から高い評価を受けていたがこの製陶技法はかつて産地で一度途絶えた技法である。そんな先人達の技術の賜物を研究と試行錯誤の末に独自再現することに成功したやま平窯。
使い手に「使いたい」と思わせる美しさと使い心地、長く使うための強度や機能性にもこだわった作り手たちの想いを感じることができる。

Yamaheigama (Arita town, Saga pref.)
Yamaheigama is a pottery of Arita porcelain, located in Saga Prefecture in Japan.
They create extremely thin pottery, as thin as 1mm, called eggshells.
The extremely thin and delicate pottery, which looks like an eggshell, has been highly praised as "the thinnest pottery in the world" since the Edo period.
However, this pottery making technique was once lost in the regions of production.
With an effort to bring back the technique of their forerunner, after much study and trial and error, they succeeded in creating their own technique.
The product has a beauty and quality that makes the user want to use it. Enjoy the passion of the craftsmen.
