OPERATIONS MANAGER
We are seeking a top flight leader at OnPoint
The ROLE You will manage all route logistics, run daily business operations and lead the delivery teams.

FOCUS AND SCOPE
You will show up to make a big difference everyday. The role is focused on transacting businesses with customers, dispatch and delivery agents to facilitate smooth fulfillment activities.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR SUCCESS IN THE ROLE
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the movement of goods in the market, making sure that the right number of goods is moved to the right locations and to the right persons at the scheduled time.
You will bring knowledge of ecommerce, local customs operations and laws. On a daily basis you will handle complex transactions successfully and prevent issues that hinder complete deliveries.
You are a great communicator who possesses an above average knowledge of computers along with, the ability to quickly learn new operating systems and implement this across the business operation.
TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create a safe working environment for employees.
• Check fleet, Check Communications systems, Check Tracking Systems
• Supervise Dispatch Agents and Delivery Agents performance.
• Ensure that teams adhere to company and industry standards.
• Ensure that teams meet KPIs for on-time, in-full and undamaged deliveries
• Liaise with affiliate companies and customers to create a good working relationship
KEY WORK RELATIONSHIPS
• To succeed, you will develop great working relations with Sales and Marketing, Finance, Directors, Delivery Agents and Dispatch Agents
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable work experience.
• Experience:
o Position requires 4 years of previous management experience in a transportation, ecommerce, hospitality, distribution, airline or fulfillment business.
o Working knowledge of Software and computer systems relating to the field or an understanding of software implementation and applications deployment.
o 3+ years’ operations experience with proven success studying field tactics and turning learning into executable recommendations.
o 3+ years’ experience of leading teams
