September is Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder that mental well-being is essential to helping our young people reach their full potential. 💚

KFTL was proud to sponsor Aberdeen High School’s Mental Health Empowerment Workshop, “Empowering Resilient Minds, Inspiring Futures,” held on September 10, 2026. Led by the Mindfulness Jamaica Initiative, an organization dedicated to advancing adolescent mental health awareness, education, and support across Jamaica, the workshop provided students, parents, and teachers with practical tools to build resilience, manage stress, and strengthen emotional well-being.

Together, we’re helping to create healthier minds, stronger communities, and brighter futures. 📚 ✨

✨ From Rural Roots to Maritime Leadership. ✨

We’re proud to celebrate Nicole Wickham, Deputy CFS & EMR Operations Manager at Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited, who is featured in the latest edition of The Beyond Woman Magazine.

A publication dedicated to highlighting the journeys, achievements and voices of women, Beyond Woman shines a spotlight on women who are making their mark and inspiring others along the way.

In “From Rural Roots to Maritime Leadership: The Journey of Nicole Wickham,” Nicole shares her journey of growth, resilience and leadership in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

Her story is a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room—it’s about leading by example, communicating openly and creating an environment where people feel valued, motivated and empowered to perform at their best.

As Nicole continues to break barriers and make her mark in the maritime industry, we celebrate her achievements and the example she sets for women pursuing leadership in traditionally male-dominated spaces. 💙

From rural roots to maritime leadership—Nicole’s journey is one of resilience, purpose and impact. 👏🏾
