KFTL was delighted to support WISTA Jamaica’s High Tea Fundraiser on Sunday, May 17, in observance of the International Day for Women in Maritime.

Under the theme “From Policy to Practice: Advancing Gender Equality for Maritime Excellence,” the event reminded us that real progress happens when commitments are translated into action. As shared by President, and KFTL team member, Nicole Wickham, “policies open doors but it is practice, culture and leadership that keep them open.”

Beyond the celebration, the afternoon carried a deeper purpose, with proceeds supporting the rebuilding of Carisbrook Infant and Primary School an investment in community resilience and future generations.

We are honoured to support WISTA Jamaica in driving meaningful impact, both within the maritime industry and the communities we serve.
